I wonder if our resident Bama fan can chime in on this. It seems like a lot of WRs to lose.
Out of the four to leave, this is the one that hurts IMO. A lot of upside once Anderson gets fully healthy. The one that needs to leave is BoB. His two year contract is over so hopefully he hits the road.

On a side note, Anderson hasn’t fully figured out the whole practice thing. If he does at his next stop he could be electric.

For all those counting at home, that's now FOUR Alabama WR's to enter the portal.

Man. One has to think Saban and some of the other older coaches just say f it and retire.

It’s going to be damn near impossible to build a roster and maintain any sort of team cohesion year over year the way things are trending. It’s setting up to look more like the JUCO one and done model for lots of players.

As always, we appreciate you chiming in!

Reason I never bought the Armstrong - ND stuff is because I doubted ND was gonna fire Rees and bring in an air raidy type OC. That visit list about summarizes that. Still amazing to see Wisconsin go this route

Culture shock for Wisconsin in general, but more specifically for Fickell, as well.

A defensive coach going from a pretty standard spread offense, which leaned towards more conservative/run-first calls, to a wide-open offense with roots in the air raid is interesting. It makes sense, though, if Fickell thinks he can build his traditional elite, versatile defense, and add a truly explosive offense to it.

Guess i missed something...did Wisky hire an air raid guy as OC?

Approaching territory where you could build an elite class on only A&M transfers. Smoke Bouie in the portal today.

Chris Marshall, Smoke Bouie, Denver Harris, Ish Harris, and PJ Williams from the 2022 class. 4 of those are Top 100 guys

Not surprised. My guess is it's a combination of NIL promises not being kept and the current state of the program. When A&M was on their losing streak, Joel Klatt told a SEC show that he was hearing that A&M players, especially from the 2022 class, were reaching out to the other schools that recruited them to see what their NIL offers would be if they transferred.

Pretty telling that their top priority isn’t finding the best place to put them in a position to be successful on the field…

Will be interesting to see how NIL $ demotivates some of these kids. That’s a lot of cash to throw around to an 18 year old with a ton of potential distractions to spend it on around a college campus.

Anybody left in the portal that we can snag to start at safety or do we need to convince Joseph to stay?

This is exactly what I would expect to happen in many team environments.
NFL locker rooms are full of income disparity and they seem to be able to function alright. NIL is new in CFB but if kept in its current format things will settle down. Heck i bet Prime is at Colorado telling his guys if they ball out they will get paid

Meh these kids finding out how the real world works. People don't make the same doing the same job and if they think they gonna get equal pay amongst their teammates in the NFL they are clueless.

Agreed but I would also add that at the college level, the athletes are most likely less mature in how they view the landscape.

A lot of players who actually contribute to team success were probably getting zilch because they enrolled prior to the NIL changes. It would be infuriating for them to see guys who have yet to do anything get paid.
