Allen said he had considered Oklahoma early on but noted that the Sooners opted to go in a different direction (taking fellow A&M transfer Kyler Murray, a freshman) and also had been hearing from Colorado, Colorado State and Syracuse.

Don't forget 1989, either. (9-2); that and a Heisman Trophy.
Houston has been damn consistent for the last 10 years though. 4 10-win seasons. I would take that in a heartbeat, for a school like them.
Not IMO, but no biggie.
Penn State wide receiver Geno Lewis announced Monday that he is leaving the Lions and will transfer to Oklahoma for his final season of eligibility.
Lewis caught 90 passes for 1,181 yards and eight touchdowns during the last three seasons at Penn State, finishing second on the squad in 2014 with 55 catches for 751 yards.
He started just three of 13 games this season, finishing with career lows (17 catches, 196 yards) in both categories, though he had three catches for 53 yards and a touchdown in the TaxSlayer Bowl loss to Georgia.
Lewis received his degree in human development and family studies in December, so he will be eligible immediately for the Sooners.
Lewis was supposed to be the next stud after Allen Robinson, wasn't he?
Wonder what caused the fall-off. Was he in the dog house?
That is weird. Never seen that before.
I imagine this allows him to transfer out yet again, or...?
An example of the grad transfer with 2 years remaining.

former UGA QB Jacob Park will transfer to Iowa State
I will be keeping an eye on Iowa State over the next few years with Coach Campbell out there now.
Hoping for nothing, but great things for him!
