You would think they would be an obvious choice, but I'm not so sure some of the Texas programs would want them coming in. Especially TCU and Baylor. They are still trying to grow their brands in the state (fast, but still growing) and need all the recruiting advantages they can get. Having Houston come to a Power 5 is a game changer for recruiting down there.

Called that one a year ago. Someone had to take off when UTK got that QB haul in '15 with Guarantano following that up. He's a good one. Good for him and Colorado, now he gets to play in the PAC.

Houston has been damn consistent for the last 10 years though. 4 10-win seasons. I would take that in a heartbeat, for a school like them.

Sooners land another high-profile transfer

Penn State wide receiver Geno Lewis announced Monday that he is leaving the Lions and will transfer to Oklahoma for his final season of eligibility.

Lewis caught 90 passes for 1,181 yards and eight touchdowns during the last three seasons at Penn State, finishing second on the squad in 2014 with 55 catches for 751 yards.

He started just three of 13 games this season, finishing with career lows (17 catches, 196 yards) in both categories, though he had three catches for 53 yards and a touchdown in the TaxSlayer Bowl loss to Georgia.

Lewis received his degree in human development and family studies in December, so he will be eligible immediately for the Sooners.

He really isn't that good. Doesn't have a lot of work ethic and isn't that athletic (in comparison to other top flight receivers).

I didn't know where to post this but I read an article on ISD about the scholarship breakdown for '17. It mentioned that the coaches are looking to add a graduate transfer this year. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on possible candidates or which position they were looking at.
