I hope it's true. Would be like USC getting another 5:s: WR. Even with its recent domination, as a single program, 'Bama can only do so much damage on the recruiting trail. Getting Lupoi off the west coast and under Saban would likely make recruiting Pac-12 territory easier for us, without really changing our odds in any other region.

Daniel Tosh?

Could get pretty confusing with him and Kiffy on the same staff. Those guys are practically twins.

Dang, Alabama is going to go from being #1 in recruiting and getting everyone they want.........to being #1 in recruiting and getting everyone they want.

Sorry, but this is a yawner for me. Alabama isn't losing out on many recruits that have real interest in Alabama these days, if any. Adding Tosh isn't going to swing the (roll)tide on many recruits. He's better off at a place that battles for recruits, like a Cal or a UW, where he can be a real difference-maker. At Bama, Saban/winning are the real difference makers.

I'm actually glad he's there and not a place that really needs him...

Thank goodness. I was starting to feel sorry for Alabama's predicament of only getting 90% of the 5-stars they want.

Agree almost entirely, but they did lose their 2015 QB to a west coast school with way less recent success.

He probably will have little affect on Bama and the West Coast. Saban has not been very successful in getting recruits from there anyway. It may help land one or two here or there but I can't see Tosh pulling that many.

What are the 2016 and 2017 talent pools out west looking like? Maybe it is a setup in order to have a better shot at big time west coast kids? Kiffin and Tosh seems a bit overkill.

this would be a real positive for Notre Dame. Get the B------- out of our way!

Agree that this shouldn't effect Bama's recruiting, but will help us out west. It's like improved their percentage from 98.90 to 98.95.

Might just be because Washington is still paying out that contract and any money Alabama paid Tosh would have to go to UW.
