Hooray!

Hope the qb room stays together, but frankly it’s just been so damn much drama with him, it’s a good riddance situation. Will be fun listening to Bama people bitch about him, I guess. I sincerely hope he’s never back in any capacity.

Let’s go get a winner, MFMF.

Touchdown Tommy becomes Tuscaloosa Tommy.

Wish him the best of luck, I was looking forward to see what he could do with this years offense, but at least he left it in a good place. Hope he does well and comes back to be HC for us.

Given the success of Freeman's other hires, I bet he picks the right person for the job.

This probably is good for all parties. Tommy’s place on MF’s staff felt weird and forced from the jump. I wasn’t one that hated Tommy, but it always felt like an arranged marriage.

Like anything else the last couple of years, the future will hinge on MF (and Jack’s) ability to hire their top target(s).

Will be interested to see if Tommy targets any of the offensive staff to head to Bama with him. Alabama’s offensive assistants are pretty high caliber already.

At least Bama has the athletes to turn those 4 yard outs on 3 and 10 into potential first downs...🙄

Yeah, plenty of average coordinators get hired at Bama. Find a new point to troll about now
I’m no troll. I have always just thought Tommy was an average OC. Which he was.
This is the last I’ll say in this thread.
It’s happy days.

Apparently he didn’t love this place like he said he did.
He loved it enough to stay for the first year and be a part of stabilizing everything, and then is offered to coach under the GOAT. I can't blame him at all for taking this career opportunity.

One offer was to go with Brian Kelly and continue coaching under the same guy he had already done so for a long time, and the other is to take a new job opportunity to learn from the greatest college head coach of all time. It's not even remotely the same.

Seems like T-Boone and Irishman77 agree.

And me and Nick Saban agree.

I wonder which pair of us has more football knowledge? (spoiler: I know almost zero about coaching football)

i'll lol when TR is keeping 5 star WR's on the field in favour of 3 TE sets
He ran that here because it was all he had. Look at the Coan team last year... Tom is going to be wide open at Bama.

I was wrong. Never thought he'd leave for a lateral position. I don't wish him ill, but he can get fucked.

Alright how long until Bama fans kill Tommy

Side note: do he go after Buckner?
If they watch the 2nd half of the Fiesta Bowl against Okie St...they may kill him before he signs his lease. Forget about his gameplan and play calling against Ohio St, Marshall, California and Stanford.

A) Jaden Rashada signs with ASU

2) Tommy hired by Alabama

III) Drew Pyne to Alabama confirmed
Why couldn’t 3) be…Hartman to Alabama?

The cherry on top. Back to square one for a QB. The excitement would cease.

I don't see how anyone can blame Tommy for taking the opportunity to be the OC at Bama. I wish him well.

Alabama offensive lineman better work on their stance endurance. Have to hold that pose while all that shift and motion is going on.

I keep looking at the news. I am praying for this. Lets get an OC to really open this offense up.

I am concerned that Freeman might go with a run oriented OC. But it is his team and I am happy he will be able to finally decide his own OC.
