I'm pumped. Going to be at the bar after softball watching Purdue/NW closely. Pretty quality opening game.

I'll keep tabs on UCF @ Uconn, but I think that one will be over in no time.

Expect a loss and try to enjoy the rest of the games? That's my strategy, even if I believe ND should win, I'm just assuming Michigan's defense is legit and we'll have a difficult time answering.

I hope our defense can hang with theirs. I hope our offense can find ways to exploit their defensive scheme. I hope they turn the ball over and we don't.

But, it's only Thursday which means I get to enjoy some games with no anxiety.

It's a multitude of things for me I think. My love of CFB is simply diminishing in general. With ND I def have battered fan syndrome, not hiding from that in the least. Hate the match up in general, never once looked forward to ND/UM, just not a fun game like SC, Stanford or others are, and personally I would have never played/scheduled them again. I'm pretty open that I feel the schedule needs more cupcakes, not more big match-ups and seeing the UM/UGA and Bama series', knowing that's going to keep us from taking that final step, is deflating. Also, yeah, honestly I think they're going to lose... lol

This NW/PU game has been so up and down for PU, they definitely made some good halftime adjustments.

I wonder if Josh Heupel is thinking about what Aaron Burr told Alexander Hamilton on stage of the musical: "Talk less...smile more."

I don't doubt his coaching acumen, but he's in a really good spot down at UCF at the moment. Scott Frost left that UCF roster in pretty good shape.

It was UConn, but still, they did all they needed to and more.
