Today is Now, What are you gonna do with it?

Days, months, and now years have gone by with us left with feelings of emptiness with loss after loss to teams that quite frankly were more prepared, overall just better, and he'll just dumb luck on their sides. We are in year 3 of the coach Kelly tenure. Historically year 3 has been significant with coaches at programs all over the country to include ND. For us it's importance has been big for success as well as failure. To me today will let us know a lot about ND. Are we ready for the big time? Are we ready to go on the road and beat top programs? Are we ready to seize the moment and shut all the doubters and haters up? This may just be a game but I can't imagine what the players and coaches feel like after a loss if I feel as bad as I do just being a fan. The place is East Lansing, but the time is now! This is a first step towards bringing this program back to greatness and I am anxiously awaiting 8pm tonight to see just that! I'm ready, you are all ready and ND is ready to bring this team back to glory!

That pumped be up! I can't wait for tonight, 20 vs 10, Heisman candidate vs our front 7, MSU wants revenge from last year but they aren't gonna get it!

Game is massive. If we win it, we should expect to beat Michigan at home next week, then mop up a bad Miami team heading into the bye - off to the races. We get to mid-October 5-0 then we'll be in the middle of the national conversation. Our toughest games will still lie ahead in USC and OK, and my expectations for the season can't be seriously improved tonight (I said 10-2/9-3 heading into the season). But tonight is a prerequisite to this season having a chance to turn magical.

Nobody (nationally) is giving us much of a shot. We have a prime opportunity to make a statement to the CFB world that, even if this isn't a national championship year, we're a player again. I'm ready to run through a wall right now, waiting around for this game. I can't imagine that the players aren't feeling the same way.

I think this sets up for us really well. We're suppose to get beat. If we win, Kelly has his first big signature win and we may have a little something. If we lose, well we weren't suppose to win.

The pressure is more on MSU than us. Our guys should be relaxed, there to play football, have some fun.
