It would be unprecedented to turn down a bowl game but can they at least entertain the idea? I think even publicly considering it would be a nice statement. I would feel some sense of satisfaction with it.

They should say it conflicts w/ the ND football program celebrating the 1993 National Championship team. Coach Holtz may not be w/ us that much longer you know?

The extra reps to develop your players angle feels less important when it’s a lot of extra reps for guys who are going to either NIL out or lose their spots to NILs in.

Yup. Great week for JS in hindsight. We needed heat turned up on our “partners” much earlier in the process to protect our interests. JS knew leverage.
Should have leveraged better scheduling terms.

Officially declined. My only complaint is it doesn't do enough to screw ESPN and everyone else over enough. Should have accepted, used the practices, and then no-showed.

I’m assuming you are just venting.

There’s a little thing called a contract that would be signed and us no showing would cost us millions of dollars in addition to a lot of negative publicity.

There is precedent for no no-showing. Marshall backed out last year because they couldn't field a team. Just say there's a viral infection running through the team and you can't make it. They can't get player medical records without consent of the players.

It's like Don Draper said, "I don't think about you at all."
Well said. I've been off social media for over ten years, but got a burner X account to follow the happenings around this sideshow. The sheer bile and stupidity I absorbed has only strengthened my belief that Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey are two of the biggest culprits of our country's decline.

I read -maybe this is wrong- that they aren't supposed to sabotage ND like this, per the agreement with ND. Maybe that's wrong. In any case, though, the relationship has clearly run its course and it is time to radically change direction.
This isn't going to get considered sabotage and from what I have read, only decorum is emphasized.

Jack set up the schedule and the arrangement with the ACC in the first place.
He also secured ND's access to a national championship in a moment when there was a question.

BYU receiver Parker Kingston calling us pussies in the comments.

I bet that loser has sex, too.

Yes. But I don't think you should ignore Musk turning twitter into what you currently see.
