In case you baseball fans missed it: The Tigers may be irrelevant this year but this is good content. The Royals were absolutely sleeping on Miggy on the basepaths (and why shouldn't they be) and this ensued, enjoy:

He makes Jake Coan look fast lol

Tigers twitter won the night. Their social media manager is so clutch.

Possibly the most undisciplined Red Sox team I've seen since the Bobby Valentine experiment debacle

The Twins are trash and nothing but smoke and mirrors. They will finish third in the Central.

Raffy Devers is a bad dude. Just sayin’

Getting Eovaldi back is big. Cora really needs that dude to beat up the strike zone and eat innings. He, Raffy, and X must to stay healthy.

Sale will be back up soon, too. May not be 2016 form but certainly can’t hurt. Be interesting to see how Cora uses him and what he has to offer.

What’s killing this team is two fold: the 9th inning continues to be a circus. We blew another save last night. And 2) another slugger would go a long way… Not JD Martinez Punch and Judy shit, but some real pop. Kyle Schwarber has 28 yams as of this morning….

I’m taking my ball and going home,… I care too much to keep watching this shit show and continue to become miserable over it. I cancelled mlbtv and turned off the updates. Hopefully our management gets its head out of its ass and gets a shortstop and a bullpen and another good starter for 23, or trade everyone and blow it completely up. The worst thing they can do is what they have been doing

I just do not like the terrible and untimely errors we've had throughout the week. Physical and mental down the stretch.. We need the break to rest up definitely

Speaking of…Chris Sale is getting the call today. Let’s see if he can get us 5 innings. Tough offense to return against.

You can’t fix stupid.
I'm not calling Scott Boras stupid, but this seems pretty crazy to turn down.

By that same token, this information got leaked because the Nationals wanted it to. They are framing this a certain way and have taken control of the narrative to start.

I am assuming they want the salary per year part to match up with what Trout gets. Personally, I'd take my $30M a year and let Trout have his $36M without feeling sore about it.

Relatively speaking of course.

Starling Marte followed Soto around like a puppy dog at the HR Derby. Mr. Cohen must’ve offered him a finder’s fee.

Was rooting for Pujols but besides that it was eh.

The way the ball pops off Soto’s bat is pretty wild. Definitely injured a few in the crowd with those screamers.

Agreed. I used to love it when you had 10 outs and you got to admire moon shots. It's like this recent version of HR Derby is brought to you by cocaine and adderall. The hitters look like lumber jacks chopping down a tree on ESPN 25 years ago. I miss the pace of the old derby.

I agree. Watching Big Mac for example just dropping bombs out of Fenway is a sight to see.

When I was 8 years old, I distinctly remember hearing about the murder of Lyman Bostock. He was a young star in MLB who had just signed a free agent deal w/ the California Angels. No way to predict how great he would’ve become but he showed superstar qualities & his peers like George Brett & Rod Carew thought if he could continue his ascent, he’d be a HOFer w/ 3K hits. Regardless it was a tragic loss of human life far too early. To this day, he is the only MLB player murdered during the season.

Tom Rinaldi of Fox Sports is doing an 8 epidsode podcast on Lyman’s story entitled “Wesley”. Check it out if you want to learn a star that was too soon forgotten.

4 touchdowns to 5 runs scored.

Yeah, time to look toward football season.

We tried, hung in, for a month or so. That was fun. For a month or so.

Pedro calls himself an alien, lol, then the 8th inning starts. Not so Alien-ish in innings 8 and 9. Dude ALWAYS needed a closer.

Love me some Pedro but pump those brakes a bit, bud. The greats finish what they start.

Looks like a lot of lazy players. I always remember reading that Devers would be lucky to stay at 3rd base.
