Finally getting Dodger games on TV here after that Time Warner fiasco ... took like four, five years... flipping back n forth between the Dodger and Angels game for the win.

Everyone ready for the Theo Epstein love-fest on ESPN?

I think I had $200 million to spend, I could put a pretty good roster together too...

I totally missed this stupid ass comment. Bummer. The Cubs payroll was 163 million in 2016, less than the Dodgers, Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers, and Giants. Rizzo, Russel, Arrieta, and Hendricks were all acquired through trades where the Cubs really gave up nothing other than the Shark. Bryant and Schwarber were drafted. They did have some big signings in Lester and Heyward (big at the time) and some good mid range signings like Zobrist and Lackey, but they haven't blown money like the Dodgers or Yankees. Theo also built the best farm system in all of baseball which is how Chapman was acquired, and how I'm sure a starter will be acquired this year. If you don't think Theo is mostly responsible for the Cubs winning then you don't know baseball.

Boston and Baltimore are acting like jackasses. Sooner or later, someone is going to get seriously harmed by a deliberate pitch to the head, and they'll do what they've done for decades: be reactive instead of proactive, because none of the major sports does it better than them. Then they wonder why they can't crack into new audiences.

Honestly, if you want this nonsense, wouldn't you watch UFC instead?

Byron Buxton is hitting .105. How the hell is that even possible. I have a mancrush on Max "Red Baron" Kepler.

Twins suck again.

They just need Buxton to be somewhat competent at the plate, which he has been lately. He's not getting a ton of hits lately but he doesn't look completely lost at the plate either. His play in the outfield makes up for what he lacks at the plate currently. I still have hope he will figure it out at the plate.

They need to move Mauer out of the clean up spot, otherwise teams are going to stop pitching to Sano here real soon.

Twins are tied for first on May 4. Last year at this time, they were already planning for the offseason.

Mauer hits his first ever walk-off home run last night. He's been around 14 years and he only has 3 walk-off hits. Good thing the Twins are paying him $26 million a year.

Manny Machado is a cunt.

Machado's slide was good and you know it.

He was going hard into the base to no give up an out. And if you watch MLB network they had two camera angles that show he was safe.

I could see it either way. However, his 30 second plus home run trot was a bit much too. Don't condone throwing the ball at the head of someone but I would sure stick it in his ass when I got the chance. It's baseball... and that's the way it is.

I am ok with someone getting hit in the ass cheek but hit them on the first round. You don't need 4 different pitchers to throw at him.

Agreed. I also think if Machado was being malicious with his slide, he wouldn't have immediately grabbed Pedroia as he did. He went in hard, and slightly late to the bag... If he puts his foot down to pop or stop, he could have done harm to himself IMO.

Sox need to be over all of this, and, as you said, you throw at their legs or behind, not head hunting.

Trout is the best player in the game. And he doesn't ever act like Harper or that piece of trash Bautista that plays for the blue jays.

Trout's amazing... best player I've ever seen and seems like a truly legit down to earth, cool, dude.

The world has lost Mike Trout for six weeks, possibly two months. And on Memorial Day no less.

The troops simply would NOT have wanted it this way.

At this point I'm ready for the Angels to just keep winning... I mean they have been down four of five starters all year... multiple other injuries or starters playing so bad they might as well be injured... and they have still hovered where they are... I would not be shocked if a few guys step up a bit, or the pitching keeps rolling, and they stay about 500 during this.

I'm all for the Cubs having a bench clearing brawl to wake up this dead ass team, hopefully tomorrow when I'm at the game.

Pujols coming to bat, having already hit a home run in the inning, one shy of the 600 club.

Or you could see a key player wind up on the DL like Michael Morse.

He got placed on the concussion list from colliding with Jeff Samardzija.

Angels just won back to back series against the Stros and Yanks... they're playing incredibly well considering they only have one of their five starters and are missing Trout....

Wow they just overturned the winning catch... if anyone says that's definitive you're blind.

Judge grounded out anyway.

How long until we find out that Aaron Judge was part of some secret BALCO program to genetically engineer the perfect human baseball player? I'm convinced this guy was grown in a test tube somewhere with a mix of DNA from Alex Rodriguez and Blake Griffin.

Halos with one of the craziest walk offs I've ever seen...

Top Nine, up one,... Two out, two strikes... Dodgers hit a game tying HR.

Bottom nine Ben Revere gets on... steals second with one out.
Maybin, having a good at bat, battling... finally strikes out, balls goes back to the back stop, Maybin falls to his knees deflated, Revere sees the ball go past the catcher and takes off for third. Dodger catcher tosses the ball to first and into right field, Revere walks home.

Good. Guys. Win.

TLDR: Angels just walked off on a strikeout.
