OK. We are talking money here. Sounds like a great idea. Beer popsicle or beer ice.. Hmmm

Beer on a stick.

I guess it would have to be very cold, since alcohol does not freeze quite easily... Hmmm

Holy Sh#t, what a great idea...i cant wait to try it...could even have em at a picnic...that would keep the kids busy!

definitely take it out of the container first. I have tried to cool a beer down quick in the freezer and left it. I have yet to have it freeze I'm a bottle but as soon as you open it the beer starts freezing so you must pour quickly.

I work for a beer company best job in the world. Leines Summer Shandy and spotted cow are my choice for summer bears.

My man!

I had never had either until I went to ND and roomed with a kid from Wisconsin. Spotted Cow is THE **** and Summer Shandy is the perfect summer beer.

Also, Blue Moon and Magic Hat #9 are great summer beers in my humble opinion. And if you're looking to get ****ed up, check out the loaded Corona.

Hah! Yes, I picked a good one to mention earlier then. Although I said Summer Shandies....

And you work for a beer company? Awesomeness.

Bud with the occasional "wildblue". I am really missing my sam adams winter lager right now.

Wild Blue is the shizz... long story short a buddy of mine introduced me to it about two years back and showed me how strong it is (quite strong) he called it "a creepa" because is tastes so weak but is so dang strong... being a baseball historian type, the way it said it reminded me of the old Satch Paige stories how he named one of his pitches "Ole Midnight Creepa"...

so that's what me wife and I call Wild Blue... in fact we never call it wild blue... It's just "Dat Ole Midnight Creepa"

Sierra Nevada Pale is always a good one any time of year...

Celebrator Double Bock is a very heavy choclate beer that is more of a cold weather beer I suppose but so good it deserves mention in any beer thread...

Dos Equis Lager is a classic, not as big on Corona but it is def. a summer/BBQ beer...

Lat. 48 by S. Adams...

Stone IPA... (anyone had the Arrogant Bastard Oaked yet??)

Stella Artois...

ANY kind of Hefe.. very 'summery"

I am not a fan of beer. At all. I can't drink it. But we love to make bull frogs!

It's a shot of vodka, a shot of triple sec, fill half full with lemonade, and the other half with Squirt. Or ginger ale. Whichever you prefer, but it's a nice summer drink.

Had a Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy today, and I have to admit that it tasted like **** water mixed with lemonade. Not a fan.

Also had a Widmer Citra Summer Blonde. A nice summer beer, citrus, some malt and a touch of pine resin. Easy drinking.

About to pour my first Samuel Adams Lat. 48.

Love Stone Brewing. Arrogant Bastard Ale and the Oaked version are both very good. The standard IPA is good, the Levitation Ale (an amber ale) is very good and for the hop heads out there the Ruination IPA is one of the best Double/Imperial IPA's out there.

Well, puts me to shame...Where do you find that lovely brew? Sounds refreshing.

Oddly enough I found it at Fry's Grocery store (owned by Krogers) but only at certain ones out here (mostly high end areas) and I have yet to see it at my local liquor places.

Red wine and Pepsi. Called a calimocho. Do not knock it until you try it.

I'll knock it...I mean Pepsi!?!? Obviously the choise would be Coke... or better yet, Dr. Pepper, with a little kiss... of Merlot.

Well when you mix the red wine with Pepsi it makes it taste like Dr Pepper, that's the whole point. If you mix red wine with Dr Pepper you don't want to know what you get.... Actualy mixing it with Hawaiian Punch is good too.

Mix it half and half, you will be dancing in the streets in no time.

Use the cheap wine though, don't want to waste the good stuff.

lol... I have tired many higher end Merlots and Cabs over the years... every time I find myself wanting to get my money back for two buck chuck... lol

I find I def. like the cheaper (watered down) red wines... Tisdale is a good one that I can get here for 1.99 a bottle... Godlen for the price.

Haha drinking Tisdale right now as I type this... It's $3 here though, I feel ripped off

Their Merlot is the best wine I've had... you put it in a taste test and I'll pick it out... love their Merlot...

anyway, we have the chain called Winco here now, they have a special deal with Tisdale... so yeah, we get it cheap as heck... good stuff though... for more expensive I like Fetzer and Ravenswood.... the REALLY high end stuff is too rich for my tastes.

I had a panaché at the end of a long, hot day in Paris many years back at the suggestion of a woman who wound up my son's French teacher in high school.

It was a mix of beer and lemonade. I was skeptical. But ... when in Rome do as the Parisians do. It was delightfully refreshing.

A little time with Google tells me that the combination is also known as a Shandy. I recommend highly.

Drink up, laugh heartily and live a long life!

That is called a Michelada. With salt. I think Budweiser sells it as Michelada. Just get a beer, a cheap one, add lots of lime or lemon and salt, and whammo, Michelada. That's about the only way I can drink any beer. I hate the taste of beer.

Where I live the choices are very limited but when I can get over there I like just about anything these people brew. Depot Street Brewing

Other than that I enjoy Dos Equis , The only products from Sam Adams I care for are summer ale and winter lager . I do enjoy a little Magic Hat No9 from time to time.

Sounds like a kamikaze.

We hill williams refer to it as bull frogs. Kamikaze makes us sound uppity, and we drink it out of jars, not red solo cups. ;)

Try Sex with an alligator:

shot Midori Melon Liqueur
splash Sweet & Sour Mix
Shot Raspberry Liqueur
Shot Jagermeister
make it in a test tube, add the jager last. YUMMMM
