HIPAA, which deals with health confidentially, is the reason Kelly can not talk about Tee.

So maybe it was a health reason Tee left.

I just looked it up, the last white cornerback to start in the NFL was Jason Sehorn, who was apparently pretty good. Cam's got the hops to play CB, don't know about the speed and instincts. CB is easily one of the hardest positions to play. Did he ever play CB in high school?

Cam certainly has the feet and athletic ability to play corner. Recall his crazy good shuttle time.

For Cam, it would all be about learning technique. And if he is a true student of the game, he could probably get most general rules down fast.

Forgot about that. Actually, his inexperience could be good for the scUM game. I believe our cornerbacks were lost last year against them because they couldn't believe an NCAA D-I QB could throw such awful passes. But seriously, it will be interesting to see how Bennett Jackson and Cam do if they start. I can't think of a position that would be harder to pick up at the college level than CB (other than QB, obviously).

I think he has the most experience. If the other guys are better then they should be able to prove it and earn the number 1 spot by end of spring. It's the one position I don't care who is starting at RIGHT NOW. I care more of who pulls to the front come Fall.

To Summarize (and added to first post):

Injury Report:
Amir Carlisle- Out for Spring (broken ankle), should be ready in June
Tony Springmann- Limited participation
Cam Roberson- Limited participation
Chase Hounshell- Not yet cleared

KLM, Hardy, Rabasa, Nichols all are cleared to practice

Position Changes:
Cam McDaniel to CB
Mathias Farley to S
Troy Niklas to TE

5th Years:
KLM
Cave
Slaughter
Goodman
McCarthy
Golic Jr.

Other Notes:
Davaris tested "off the charts." NFL combine level numbers.

Lo and Bennet are the starting CBs as of now.

Shembo will be looked at for both OLB positions

Riddick, Goodman, Prosise, and Neal to get looks at PR

GAIII will play RB and slot, looking for more ways to get him the ball

Very comfortable with Zeke, Collinsworth, and Slaughter at S.

No plans currently to move Neal to CB.

OL should be a good battle with Prestwood and N. Martin challenging for PT.

I liked what I heard, err read. I have the full and utmost confidence in BK. I like the McDaniel move and keeping the incoming frosh at their natural positions..for now. Definitely gonna be weird not seeing Gray, Blanton, and Harry back there.

I like using the Spring for an absolute open competition with a scaled back playbook for everyone. I'm very confident right now.

My confidence is subject to change. lol

Kick Return?

Atkinson and who?

Choices I would think: Collinsworth, Neal, Prosise, Riddick

Wait what? You didn't know who Jason Sehorn was? You never saw him play?
