Always possible of course since it’s the NCAA but Harbaugh got a multi year show cause for impermissible recruiting benefits over COVID. Unlikely UM isn’t getting hit here for something more serious. Not to mention, if it was a slap on the wrist, UM would have already agreed to a settlement and moved on here. My guess is vacating of the wins the last few years and by proxy the NC is on the table which is why UM is fighting tooth and nail here.

A little bit, but when you think about it, he was hired by Ron English at Eastern Michigan. Then by Fleck at WMU. Dino Babers at Syracuse, then by Mike DeBoard at IU before landing at Michigan. Three of his five jobs came from Michigan connections. You have to wonder whoever didn't escape to the NFL with Harbaugh and whoever is still at Michigan are fine, right? Anyone else out in limbo that was connected to this probably isn't going to be touched for a bit. Hard to say.

So basically Michigan is admitting a tad bit of wrongdoing but otherwise not accepting responsibility. Cool. The American Way. Actually, to admit even a little bit is rather surprising. I would've suspected they'd go all in and double down.

Me. I do. That’s why I asked.

The level of deception their scandal entailed was beyond anything that has been publicly reported in modern CFB. It was a HUGE story that has largely just gone away with no real resolution, which I find weird.

I mean..Penn St actively shielded and attempted to cover up a pedophile and his grooming organization for two decades until the doors got blown off of that.

I never cared much about the UM stuff when it happened. ...and don't care at all now. Honestly, until you asked the question..I forgot it had even happened.

UM won the national title. Nothing will ever change that regardless of what does or doesn't happen with the NCAA.

I’m always confused by posts like these… “we have our own shit to figure out”. Huh? I’m a fan, which is short for fanatic. One of the sole purposes of being a fan of one team is talking shit too and about their arrival team. That’s like telling me as a fan to take one game at a time and not to take any play or a game for granted.

Fuck Michigan. What do we have to figure out? I wake up, I eat breakfast, I go to my office and work for a little bit, I go workout, I play with the kids, eat dinner, bang my wife and root for Notre Dame when they play and say Fuck Michigan because I feel like it when I feel like it. “Eyes on my own plate”… the fuck you talking about? My fanship and my eyes getting off my plate doesn’t affect the team at all… just makes my weekends better when I can talk shit to my Michigan fan friends and family.
