Everything I’ve read says the other B1G AD’s & President’s want “immediate action.”

According to the B1G Conference’s own rules, a vote by the Presidents supersedes all else & is legal.

So if the Presidents vote to punish Michigan, what lawsuit can Michigan file?

If they force Michigan to vacate the first 8 games, or vacate all B1G games, in either circumstance Michigan would not have enough wins to play in the B1G Title game or the CFP.

Seems simple to me.
B1G Presidents vote.
Michigan vacates.
All of which is legal & in Conference bylaws.
Michigan has no legal basis for a stand.

Michigan lawyers can go pound sand.

I'm stocking up on bottled water, batteries and canned food for the idea that it could be James Franklin.

If Penn State beats Michigan, I can't think of how disgusted and pleased I'm going to be simultaneously is going to equate to my survival. Several vital organs could fail me.
Remember the scene in Meet Joe Dirt where they think Jaime Pressley is his sister.

Yeah that's what it feels like rooting for Penn State to beat Michigan to me.

You don't need a legal basis to file a lawsuit. This is America!

According to Michigan President email the BIG has to investigate before they act. If true, my guess is that's what they rely upon.

I guess the question is, define investigate?

What if the conference did investigate? Is there a defined length they have to?

I mean, if they have proof already that Michigan illegally scouted 12 of the other 13 B1G games, which has been reported, that doesn’t take long to do.

Meh, it won’t hurt them if they suspend him. I still think they’re going to win out and make the playoffs and may even win it all this year.

USC with 3 losses and Harbaugh getting indefinitely suspended salvages the weekend.

It’s like Tylenol it takes the pain away for a few hours but it’ll be back. And at the end of the day ND football is just a good team and nothing more.

If you think Michigan is going to avoid any kind of punishment from this, start adjusting your expectations now. It's comes down to not being ridiculous about it. Stallions being on CMU's sideline is not the worst violation in league history. The advanced scouting stuff, which may not be illegal technically, does intensify the scrutiny of the lack of oversight.

I'm not making the case for punishment, but I am explaining to you why I think it's coming. The sideline presence is what moved this from "no punishment" to "some punishment" IMO.

The question is when, not if.

From Webb. We went from OSU hit pieces to preparing the board for punishment in less than 2 days

“Stallions being on CMU’s sideline is not the worst violation in league history”.

Haha, a coach who actively engages your own teams coordinators during every game was caught impersonating a member of another coaching staff in order to get onto the sideline and it’s categorized as not the worst in league history. Whatever amount of contempt you have for these people, it’s not enough.

But they are gonna sue the league. Seeking an injunction may at least be in the realm of possibility to prevent league action but no one at Michigan is stupid enough to just hand over discovery power to the B1G when they already planted their flag on the denial death hill.

The fact that Webb is using all his language gymnastics to ultimately admit illegality, to me, shows that the wrath we all want Michigan to get is going to happen. It’s going to be ugly. It’s going to be long. And they’re going to come out looking even worse than they do now.

I cordially invite you all to the Ann Arbor is a whore 1st annual BBQ.

Wolverine will be provided, but please bring your own side dishes.

It is requested that Irish fans and Buckeye fans please refrain from fighting in front of the Michigan fans so that they can receive no joy during this time.

The only hacking is allegedly Michigan obtaining 50 hours of practice footage from Ohio State. I don't have a source on this, it was one of those reddit and message board posts from 2 weeks ago.

Michigan fanboys are trying to obfuscate the situation and accuse tOSU of hacking UM. I think it seems from the report that "a third party firm" had information to give to the NCAA. It was probably a firm investigating Weiss's unspecified "computer crimes" for which he was fired that uncovered additional illegal activity and handed it over.

UM fanboys twisted that as Ryan Day hired his brother's PI firm in New Hampshire to hack into Michigan's computers which is the only way they would have found out about the sign stealing. So, you see, it's not that the sign stealing is illegal, rather how that information was obtained is "more illegaler" so that's why tOSU is actually the bad guy, and not the systemic multi-year cheating infrastructure at UM.

For those reading this, if you know people who subscribe to conspiracy theories on the regular, you can recognize the signs of flat eartherism or whataboutism in all of this. If you are a conspiracy theorist and reveling in the UM fiasco, I hope you can recognize the signs and break through the shell.
