So, 3 losses sound about right? It's hard to te from the last 2 weeks.
Kizer's accountant is holding for you on line one.
I am guessing that his point is that their kid is better. lol
That anyone thinks Ian Book is the answer to our problems is funny
It's one freakin game! R-E-L-A-X.....It matters, but only slightly. Who cares if they sleepwalk through Ball State? Now, if they CONSISTENTLY play like this, i.e. the next 2 weeks, then sound the alarm. Michigan played very good today, they look very solid...we beat them, and although the score didn't indicate that, we were very clearly the better team. Wake me up for the Stanford game, yall are gonna put me on blood pressure meds lol
When your starting pitcher has a bad game, you go to the bullpen. Doesn’t matter if it’s Scherzer, Sale, or Kershaw. Sometimes people have shitty games and need to come out. Wimbush had one of those games. Book could have, and probably should have, come in for a series or two to give BW a break. Against a better opponent BW’s poor throws and turnovers could have easily cost us the game.
Did you really type this and it made sense? So replacing guys that are missing blocks will have no impact on how Wimbush or this offense does? Man, that’s some Mensa stuff you’ve come up with.
What are the odds BK talks about how hard it is to win in college football in the post game presser?

So... Michigan is one point better than Ball St eh??
Book is not the answer. This is on BK and the staff for not mentally preparing the team for a shoo in game like this.
Beer me, I need to grill something and just chill the rest of the day until the Stanford-USC game... maybe that game will give me some entertainment.
Bleh. But Michigan blew out their opponent this week and I’d rather be us than them.
Yep but this is year 9 of Kelly, and Wimbush is who he is. I've seen this same story over and over and would have been more surprised if we came out and throttled them. I had us going 9-4 before the year started and this is what a 9-4 Brian Kelly team does. Oh well.
Or from any year really.I agree, it’s just frustrating because it seems little has changed from last year.

You're either being intellectually dishonest on purpose, have no idea how football works, or are an idiot.
No replacing a lineman mid game is not going to improve your blocking. In most cases it would actually make your blocking much worse. Line play is predicated on reading assignments which require the whole line tk have chemistry and know what the others are doing on the fly.
The point is irrelevant anyways because tons of issues with Wimbush were independent of the line play. His lolly pop interception was made from a clean pocket. His second in was on the move outside the pocket, zero to do with blocking. How many times did he run around like a chicken with his head off and take a sack instead of throwing the ball away? Thats an issue you can fox immediately by replacing Wimbush.

So, Kraemer not getting around fast enough to reach his pull block is irrelevant? No other player could do that? Liam not being able to sustain a one on one block for a called QB keeper, is irrelevant? No other player could do that? Sounds like the incompetence is with you my friend. You are clearly just not watching the entire game. You see a incomplete pass and blame Wimbush. So does my wife. There’s a lot more to it than that.
There was a lot wrong with today. Not just Wimbush, incompetence says blame the singular player because someone can’t pay attention to anything else.
Well, that was fucking ugly. You don't throw three picks against Ball St. You don't take a player with big play ability over consistency, consistency wins out long term. I think Wimbush should cross train as RB and put Book out there.
I think its odd that everyone seems to take for granted that Book is better than Wimbush. I have a hard time forgetting the Book that was put in for Wimbush when he was struggling against Miami... and proceeded to throw the easiest interception for a touchdown that I've ever seen.
Exactly, Book has a TD to INT ratio of 1/1. Only had a 61% comp pct. and nothing close to the legs Wimbush has. Much smaller sample size but it’s not like that sample size blows you away as obvious.
But this is what the ND fanbase does. The backup is always better.
