I don’t think it’s a trap game when Game day will be thereTrappiest trap game of all time. I’m going to take Duke and the points whatever the line is.

He is big on playing 11 player defensive setsDoes Elko's Duke get a lot of take aways?
He works hard on this - which I miss.
It quit becoming a trap game when they beat Clemson. Now it’s just a challenge for ND to get back up after likely being mentally & physically gassed after tonight’s heartbreak. That’s why the coaching staff gets paid big bucks. This game will tell us more about MF than tonight did.I don’t think it’s a trap game when Game day will be there
That stands out because most others are “should have made” or “could have made” plays—missed FG, DJB missed int, 4&1, etc. 10 men on the field is so grossly fundamental as to be fireable.Already kinda getting tired of the 10 player talk. Was it bad? Sure. But they dominated and could have won the game so many times. It doesn't all depend on a play or two.
I get it and it should be mentioned. It's just that there are so many more plays, scenarios, heart, schemes, etc that are more interesting to break down. Not the first time a team has played a play or two with 10, nor will it be the last. That stands out because most others are “should have made” or “could have made” plays—missed FG, DJB missed int, 4&1, etc. 10 men on the field is so grossly fundamental as to be fireable.
Just don’t like that we’ll be the laughing stock of the media for a week at least.
It’s 2 plays at the goal line at the end of the game with game on the line, missing a dlinemen…. BrutalI get it and it should be mentioned. Yeah like the third and nineteen after the grounding call. Total WTF defense on that playI get it and it should be mentioned. Entire team was playing like there was one last play and Henderson like always was so late because he can’t get in and out of breaksYeah like the third and nineteen after the grounding call. Total WTF defense on that play
This is the ultimate emotional letdown spot.
AgreedEarly line seems to be Duke +7.5… easy money.
11-1we're definitely in but we're definitely not going 11-1. I had this as a loss regardless of the OSU outcome. Still do. Duke is incredibly well coached, really stout D, great Qb. I think they're as good or better than OSU and it's on the road.11-1 probably gets in the playoffs. This will be a pissed off ND team that will run the ball all over Duke.
ND 38-17.
Fuck Ohio State.
And immediately after this duke game on road at Louisville that won’t be easy11-1we're definitely in but we're definitely not going 11-1. I had this as a loss regardless of the OSU outcome. Still do. If we win this game will complete 180 my current feeling about this season which is a good opportunity for this team. I just don't see it happening.
You think Duke is as good or better than Ohio State who was one play from the title game last year? Aside from their QB how many Duke players would see the field at Ohio State? And yes it's on the road but it's just fucking Duke. It's like going to Wake Forest.11-1we're definitely in but we're definitely not going 11-1. I had this as a loss regardless of the OSU outcome. I think this is the week where Sam Hartman matters moreso than yesterday tbh. Leading and keeping these guys reined in and focused.

They are well-coached and it's a potential letdown game for sure, but let's not get carried away.
and he needs to exorcise the demons from his performance in last year’s Duke game.I think this is the week where Sam Hartman matters moreso than yesterday tbh. Leading and keeping these guys reined in and focused.
So with ND/OSU, Buckeyes clearly had the more talented roster based on recruiting rankings just like ND has over Duke. OSU is starting a new QB so that led some to believe the playing field was leveled & the fact ND was playing so well as a team on both sides of the ball (like Duke). ND has zero excuse to lose to Duke. Yes, they are very good & Elko has them believing so anything can happen. But if the staff & players can’t get back up to beat a ranked Duke in prime time to prove they still have a pulse, then there’s more issues than we know about.11-1we're definitely in but we're definitely not going 11-1. Word now apply all those points to the Duke Clemson game a few weeks ago in a matchup where Duke couldn't stop skull fucking all of Clemson's five stars for 4 quarters. So with ND/OSU, Buckeyes clearly had the more talented roster based on recruiting rankings just like ND has over Duke.
