OSU has had a massive talent gap over Michigan, much, much more so than over ND, & Michigan has beaten them down the past two seasons with playing far from flawless. It's going to be fun seeing our guys run out to a sea of red like Georgia and Nebraska.
Having said that, I think yiu guys are a bit overconfident. OSU has a significantly better roster. Crazy talent.
We can win but we are going to have to play near flawless.
Mr. Turtle, while I could easily tell you how wrong you are about your first point, you will see that for yourself on Saturday Night.
On the second point. This is simply not true if you are basing it off the 247 composite rankings. Notre Dame, again, per the 247 composite rankings, has higher ranked offensive line, runningbacks, tight ends. Ohio State has the higher ranked QB, but I will take Hartman over McCord everyday. OSU has the significant edge at receiver and it isn't close. OSU has the slight edge in overall talent all over defense.
They have a better roster. Calling it significantly better is objectively and subjectively incorrect unless you are only looking at receiver.
Good to know, Ding. Btw, he’s already “played himself into a day 3 pick”. Good postBig game for Cam Hart. I've never been that impressed with him at corner, but if he wants to play his way into a day 3 pick, this is a statement game for him. Hoping he rises to the challenge.
Why not go 1st round with Kiser?Good to know, Ding. Btw, he’s already “played himself into a day 3 pick”. Good post
They have played 5 times since the ‘30s.Also, when it come to Ohio State, I'm in show me mode. They have been beating us handily since the 1990's.
The difference, which benefits Michigan & sucks for ND, is that OSU doesn’t respect Michigan & tries to score 20 points on every play.Detroit Sports radio is high on ND lol thinks OSU is still soft AF and ND will out physical them as Michigan has been doing last two years
Did you know handle it properly? PIIHB style?I was at both. There was so many Georgia fans it was sick. From a personality standpoint the Georgia fans were pretty cool, a number of them asked about gameday traditions and followed us around. Quite a few came to check out Trumpets Under the Dome. From a cleanliness standpoint they were the absolute messiest fanbase I've ever seen...the campus was littered with broken beer bottles and cans the likes of which I've never seen.
The only negative I had with a Georgia fan that day came during the actual game. A drunk blond coed behind me was constantly screaming profanities, she was kneeing me in the back, and she'd yell out "CHUBBY CHUBB CHUBB CHUUUUBBBBB!!" every offensive play, even when Sonny Michel was in. I think I documented it in the post game thread.
Haha, at "Ding... " classic DingGood to know, Ding. Btw, he’s already “played himself into a day 3 pick”. Good post
I miss when you just said inanities about the Dante Moore recruitmentAlso, when it come to Ohio State, I'm in show me mode. They have been beating us handily since the 1990's.
Do you go to the games? Not being a dick, genuinely asking.Good way to compensate for our complete inability to get our fans to wear green to the games.
Good point. OSU had me thinking the previous year’s loss was an anomaly until it wasn‘t. Be interesting to see if Hartline follows your advice now that he’s the play caller. The difference, which benefits Michigan & sucks for ND, is that OSU doesn’t respect Michigan & tries to score 20 points on every play.
I remember last year OSU was leading early, controlling the game, with the ball, & kept trying to score on every snap. It’s like they were trying to score 100, instead of just winning the game doing what was working.
I remember Urban on the halftime show was sick, & pissed at the OSU game plan.
He felt the same way I did. OSU could have had a 10-13 point halftime lead, but the wanted it to be 50.
If they just played their game & went to half up 10, get up 17 early 2nd half, Michigan would have quit (like before). But instead, Michigan built confidence and OSU quit.
OSU doesn’t play ND that way. You saw it last year. They were really careful on D & ran a balanced, run first offense & slowly pulled away.
I wish they had the same gameplan against us they have vs Michigan the past two seasons.
That’s what‘s so funny…fans expect the stadium to be 100% their team’s colors. Look at every stadium w/ name teams and there will be a segment (small or large depending on the game) sitting together w/ opponents’ colors. Even CMU had a segment of fans in the visiting section.Do you go to the games? Not being a dick, genuinely asking.
The specified Irish Wear Green games are very close to 95% green. Even last year against lowly Cal.
Yeah my Buckeyes buddies have already chalked this game up as a win. They don’t deny it could be closer than they expect but they simply harken back to the two losses w/ Holtz, one w/ Weis, one w/ BK & one w/ MF. They’re the one fanbase that could fit in perfectly w/ SEC fan bases & in some cases out douche them.Yea, I was watching some video on youtube and these two “bucknutters” (which is how they refer to themselves. I kid you not.) were very comfortable. One of them was not particularly worried about Hartman.
Which to be fair, if I’m Ohio St. I probably should be arrogant. ND hasn’t won shit yet. It’s go time for us, not flex time.
They can ALL eat a full bag of cockEasily some of my worst experiences in cfb fandom have been with Ohio State fans. Easily. And many of them despise Notre Dame, so it’s perfect.
I pulled it from an OSU site. LolGot dang what a hype video
Interesting. All the Buckeye fans I work with are very worried about this game. Their confidence level is super low and think this might be ND’s year.Yeah my Buckeyes buddies have already chalked this game up as a win. Yep. Most of them are not convinced Day is a good big game coach. That is interesting, but it might be PTSD from Michigan. I think some of them don’t trust Day.
They do despise the Irish. I was perusing one of their sites and it was pretty much “F” overrated Notre Dame.Easily some of my worst experiences in cfb fandom have been with Ohio State fans. Easily. And many of them despise Notre Dame, so it’s perfect.
They are a witty yet classy bunch of ass holes. Absolute worst. They do despise the Irish. I was perusing one of their sites and it was pretty much “F” overrated Notre Dame.
I only have a few but they are either very cocky or passive aggressive when talking about ND. They’re more accustom to getting crap from SEC fans.Interesting. All the Buckeye fans I work with are very worried about this game. Their confidence level is super low and think this might be ND’s year.
OSU fans on Eleven Warriors are basically predicting a OSU win of 10 or more points.
