Dude we’re all upset but we literally beat 2 iconic and “serious” programs in the playoffs just one year ago - we aren’t some other-ran rinky dink program and it’s stupid to claim that. Yeah things aren’t going how any of us want right now, but with what we lost especially from a leadership perspective - combined with a stupidly front loaded schedule, a tough start to the year was always possible.
Yep. The thing is, everyone gave him the benefit of the doubt in the spring. And then when they got through that, the vibe among veterans was just "I don't understand why we're changing things." There were a LOT of warning signs, but until you actually see live bullets you never know what to believe.

I think we all wanted to give Freeman the benefit of the doubt. As Lax pointed out in another thread, Freeman got started on this hire late in the process because of how late the season ran. I can’t imagine Mickens would be much worse.
I do not drink, I want to fire Ash immediately. I'm generally pretty level headed with that kind of stuff and am not a doomer. I'm not even dooming now, but I've watched enough football to know this guy sucks. DO I expect Freeman to fire him now? No, he'll wait until we make Arkansas look like the 07 Patriots. But this guy is honestly maybe worse than Geraldino Porker.
