No, but it takes a lot more work and to get to be a good team. I put a lot of it on the fan base. Lots of expectations and heaping pressure on the team and a homefield disadvantage. You're not going to play well all the time and ND always seems to play like they are waiting for something bad to happen. I suspect that it's because that's the way the fans behave. Watch Texas A and M. Their fans don't behave like that.

Please stop. Please. Go to NdNation this site isn't for you. Im trying to be respectful here, because you're a fellow ND fan. But if you honestly believe we need to switch to an option offense to compete with BCS programs then you dont deserve any respect.

You blame the fans? Huh? That is a major stretch. What do the fans have to root for? For real, I just don't get that argument.

Come on man, it's a young team. These guys will be ok, it's all in the building process. Not every game is gonna be 50-10.

Allowing 7 points is not bad at all. Scoring 7 points is terrible. Gotta get the run to the edge. That half back quick toss was very effective

Only thing I'll say about the fan base is that they SHOULD have great expectations...Aim high Willis, AIM HIGH!!! but for US (because I'm an alum/fan) to have the expectations that we do...It is absolutely our fault for why teams come in here and think we are at a neutral site game...MAKE SOME EFFING NOISE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD...

When the offensive line is getting beat, everything is hard. Defensive Line is OK, but we could use some more pressure.
