by the way, this game totally illustrates to me at least why I loved what Kelly did at Cincinnati and what I think his biggest mistake at ND has been. He hasn't gone up tempo all the time or most of the time. You can run power and inside zone and outside zone while going up tempo. You would also make the game a lot easier for Golson and wear out the Purdue d-line. I hate that he doesn't go up tempo. It would be build such a nice mentality on this time.

We playing a lot of different people in personnel groups with a QB that's now played 6 quarters of college football.

Golson doesn't call audibles with the speed of Quinn or Clausen in their last season. But then, they didn't do it any better in their first season.
