I think Kelly has done a good job making ND annually competitive again, with one really good season. But he obviously is not the guy who is going to make ND an elite football team on the field again. It's time for a new direction.

Excluding 2012, BK at ND is averaging 4.5 losses a year. That's five seasons of football. He just is not stepping up - it's beyond him to do.

Great season in 2012, "great" recruiting class in 2013 but failed to capitalize on it and raise the program to the next level. Can imagine another 5-loss season this year.

They are just so damn inconsistent. The offense will look amazing then sh*t the bed. The defense will make some good stops but when they need to make a stop they don't, all season it's been like that.

I don't even know what the team goal should be. I say just try to get some upsets to bring excitement to the season. Maybe we can upset Syracuse or NC State. No way they can be favored the rest of the season.

So depressing after having so much promise at the beginning of the season.
