Was at the game:
1.team was flat, stadium subdued. Crowd noise didn't factor
2.D looks like it is playing with 10 guys
3.whole team is soft, looked like flag football
4.couldnt control the edge on D
5. Corners looked slow
6. O line no push. No nasty
7. Folston is not 100%
8. Special teams are an afterthought

Ok with the coaching today but willing to sit the one guy on this team the NFL is salivating for. Does He' have f**king brain damage?

He's a good QB, but he showed what happens every time to QBs in Kelly's offense when we're throwing it 35+ times a game. People were saying he was better than Quinn and Clausen. Golson looked good at times too. So did Tommy. Right now Kizer looks like Tommy with a better arm. He's changing the play at the line a lot, we're asking him to win the game passing the ball because our running game blows, and all these attempts are eventually resulting in turnovers or bad passes as the defense adjusts. Can't win games putting the entire offense on the QBs shoulders, not all the time anyway. Can't ask a QB to play perfect for an entire game. Kizer has done well in many games because he has the arm and enough legs to get out of trouble. Long story short though, when BKs running game falls apart we put everything on the QBs shoulders and historically it becomes too much for one guy.

Trouble is players have lost confidence in their leadership. Why try hard if you feel it won't matter? I think Kelly is wrong, it's not a lack of passion, it's a lack of confidence. Only down hill from here boys.

Kizer got sacked ,threw a pick, and fumbled the ball. He was on the field twice and you choose to nit pick that? Not even mention him in consideration for the qb job.

This "business trip" Bs started with Weis and continues on with BK.

I hope Zaire does end up transferring and tears it up. He had to redshirt and watch Tommy play, then remain in the shadows while Golson fumbled games away, then the untimely injury when he gets his chance. He's a good player and has been unfairly blasted for 3 possessions against Texas..some people even saying he cost us that game. Zaire wasn't even near the top of the list of things that cost us that Texas game. He's still responsible for the best bowl win we've had since Holtz.

Really, Kelly is a better version of Weis. I remember watching Cincy at the end of 2009 as it seemed that he could be our next coach. They played just like us. No D, throw it all over the place, yet his teams won the close games and Weis' teams lost the close ones. This is a carbon copy of the 2009 team. Unreal.

MZ if good friends with Josh Dobbs. I would not be shocked to see MZ in orange next year. While I love Dobbs (a great kid, great parents), MZ would be an improvement and a perfect fit.

I agree. Some people say Kizer is a better runner, but they're delusional. Kizer is successful running because teams respect his arm and don't load the box, it leaves more running room. Zaire is quicker, more elusive, and he's still better at diagnosing the read option. Right now it's irrelevant though because our OL is getting beaten in the trenches on running plays. If we're not going to be physical, I don't think we can be successful with Zaire in.

He doesn't have the arm to be the everyday QB. they would load the box and i don't think his are would be constant enough.He would run so much he would get all banged up and the back up would play 2 or 3 games a year. Yes he has a much quicker first step when he decides to run. But one they are full stride they are both pretty fast.
