Man these new clock rules suck so much.

This is my biggest take away so far.

It isn’t uncommon for an FCS team to have a good first drive or two, but then the FBS team really imposes its will as the game goes on. You end up seeing the game be 57-10 or less.

With the new clock rules, it favors the FCS team to stay around “longer” just because of less plays. Wouldn’t be surprised if this game ends up 42-6 instead of getting more points.

But it is. I get what you’re saying, they had a punt return in there. Fumble recoveries, etc. games are shorter. Without the stoppage it shortens the game.
