Crap move by Kelly giving Bryant a carry with 9 seconds left in the first quarter then ripping him out when they switched ends. He even called a timeout to do it. These are the types of mind games that breaks players down beyond belief.

I think I am convincing myself that Tommy is checking way too much. How many other QBs do you see check as much to a different play in CFB?

Good point. On some level I start to think that the D knows he will always check, so they show something knowing Tommy will check into a certain tendency, and gameplan for that tendency. Just my uninformed opinion, but it seems plausible the way things are going.
