Purdue fans and their “Little Brother” syndrome are absolutely insufferable.

I went to Purdue and found it impossible to root for them because of their fans. I refer to them as the redheaded stepchild of IU basketball and Notre Dame football.

The Sunday after the A&M victory. A group of my fellow northeast located ND fans had begun to put things in motion to get to MetLife for the Navy game, and have our wives spend the day in the city to make it possible.

As you can imagine that group message has gone quiet the past few days!

I for one support ND fans staging a boycott of the Purdue game. Imagine the impact if 10 million fans said, just this once, I’m going to do something else this Saturday like play with my kids, go workout, pretend it’s a bye week bc we are sick of this nonsense.

I already vowed not to watch it Leonard starts. As hard as it’ll be, I’m a man of my word. There’s no team I’ll ever cheer for besides ND, but skipping a game is the only way I can control my displeasure. It’s the one thing I can control.

Now that I think about it, I wouldn’t want Purdue prepping for a new qb. Maybe Freeman is just playing 4D chess.

Was it my imagination during today's presser that Freeman talked about how NIU's defense is unique and throws different looks, ultimately stacking the box and forcing teams to throw....and then later essentially said that's how Purdue plays defense? Oh...and Purdue has the best rushing offense in the B1G last year? If I heard all of that correctly, how is that much different than the NIU matchup and why should we expect better results, when he's already hitched himself to Riley's wagon? At what point does the definition of insanity take effect?

Nobody is going to be surprised if Purdue wins. We played extremely bad the game after the Marshall loss. I am going off that and Card is red hot after completing 24/25 and then having 2 weeks to prep trick plays etc.
