What offense would we expect to see with CJ? Obviously he's not running around like Leonard but I'm hoping it would be a mix of Leonard and Hartman from last year minus Hartman being a complete statue in the pocket

I completely reject the idea that our entire offense can only be run by Leonard based on his mobility and that's why we have to keep him as QB1. If that's the case, then Leonard has a bad shoulder now and will be limited in the run game as it is. We should prioritize who is the better passer, dominate the run game with our two stud RBs, and occasionally scheme QB runs with Angelli/Minchey/Carr. There is no way that Leonard is the best QB on our team at throwing the ball

Play Steve and give Kenny every third series or so. Maybe short yardage/red zone if they determine he’s the better runner.

If they both fail by Florida St, give the reins to CJ and figure out the roster when the time comes.

It would be neat to see a QB under center to allow the best two players on our offense to get some forward momentum before handing them the ball. And do it more than 15 times combined for the two!

Yeah good luck teaching the qb’s to perfect that footwork when all they know is the dumb spread shotgun everyone runs.

I think "the offense is tailor-made for Leonard" line is an excuse to not play the other guys. I get that Leonard is athletic but it's not like he's Mike Vick. You can run Angeli a little bit, or Minchey if it comes to that.

The playbook stuff drives me nuts. Coaches get so stubborn about it.

Football has been around for 150 years everything has been done, it's like music. You take someone else's idea and turn it into something slightly different. Pachelbel's Canon becomes Don't Stop Believing and everything else (see Axis of Awesome). Find some shit that has worked for similar teams in the past and do it, bro.

I hope they've worked on some other packages for the other QB's given their strengths.

I guess we should just be thankful Washington had the right number of players on the field for this one, lol.

I continue to be unimpressed with Washington's production with what he has on the DL.
Yeah same Oden looks out of shape, Mills hasn’t done anything, Bothelo hasn’t looked bad, I was expected Boubacar to have 6-7 sacks this year, why can’t young guys get on the field? Guys like Vernon should be playing or get some snaps as Sophmore. Meanwhile Mensah has one sack for TCU already
