Just an FYI.
I beleive some of this is rooted from a tradition that is held between scUM and MSU.
The week of the scUM vs MSU game every year, no matter where the game is at, students at both school guard their most beloved symbols. In East Lansing, MSU students guard the Sparty Statue. In Ann Arbor, they guard the block M that is on the ground in the diag. These cherished symbols are protected over a 24 hour watch, all week long, its pretty impressive in my opinon. This tradition was started back when students at either school would make the drive to the others campus and paint the symbols or in some way make their mark on them so that their enemy knew they had been there. In the past I know that scUM students have painted sparty yellow, and i heard that Spartys boys went up to AA and painted the block M green, and the also have painted scUM rock they have up there green.
I wonder if this might be the start of a tradition between ND and scUM now. All it takes is for one side to fire first and next thing you know, traditions like this are born.
So basically Im asking....
WHO WANTS TO DRIVE UP TO ANN ARBOR WITH ME AFTER WORK TONIGHT!!!???
