"more quieter" OUCH! Let Strunk and White be your friend
If you are going to commit Murder in the First Degree on the English language each time oil passes through the $100 mark, I may need to dust off my
Seppuku kit.

Normally, I agree, but he crossed over to troll-land a few pages back. I hear you, tho. Fight the good fight, I guess.I understand the why, but ignoring posters is too far, in my opinion. It’s healthy to counter posters who aggressively think their hot takes matter, particularly because they represent a slew of others just like them.
Italics = sarcasm? That is the way I took the post. No harm, no foul.

Are we talking about ex-US presidents? Just curious.7 traits of megalomaniacs*:
VLAD has lost, he is nuts and a megalomaniac. He is no longer a rational actor.
- Presumptuousness. They believe they’re essential.
- They feel indestructible and capable of solving any problem that comes their way. They’re manipulative, which is how they get to positions of power.
- Feelings of omnipotence. They often put other people to the test to compare themselves and show that they’re better than everyone else.
- They don’t admit to their mistakes, so they never learn from them.
- Narcissistic and idealized self-image.
- Hyperawareness of people’s reaction to what they do or say. If people reject them, they think those people are the problem and not them.
- Vanity, supported by a strong ego that grows as a result of feeling superior.
Can he be stopped before he pushes the chemical or nuclear button?

You sir, clearly operate above my pay grade, not that there is anything wrong with that......
Agreed on that count. Highly evil.
Cut him some slack. It’s tough for a keyboard warrior to watch real men put their lives on the line and defend everything they hold dear.Normally, I agree, but he crossed over to troll-land a few pages back. I hear you, tho. Fight the good fight, I guess.
That settles it. Putin doesn't like it, so the West will cower. Even though Putin would be nuts to do it, they'll be afraid.
Sometimes bad people do good by accident. He’s no loss to the world, though.Edward Snowden's last tweet: February 27, 2022.
Looks like China isn't that excited about Putin invading and is more worried about U.S. sanctions that could hurt China.

4 ways China is quietly making life harder for Russia

Self interest is the end game. This tells me they are more worried about themselves being affected economically more than anything else. They are a global power, but you still have to watch where you step to maintain that position. There is an engineering term, "Leading edge is Bleeding edge". My opinion only, but I think if Russia was largely successful early on, China would have taken Taiwan. I can't believe that Putin and Xi did not discuss their collective strategies/desires when they met pre-Olympics. China abstaining from UN and Justice votes might me telling. I don't get the "End Game".
