Russian death toll is reportedly nearing 200k, which is staggering considering that the United States lost 58k total in Vietnam and the Ukraine conflict is nowhere close to over. Russia lost 5k troops yesterday alone.

Total waste of life in a "war of choice" by an idiot who expected it to last no more than a week and doesn't want to lose face.
Russia’s history hasn’t changed in regards to war. They start out with their enemy getting the best of them for the first year or two but they keep throwing bodies at the effort and plan on outlasting them b/c they have more men. Would anyone have picked USSR to be part of the victorious Allies after year one of WW2 when Germany was looking like the better armed force? People are commodities to the Russian war effort.

Difference is in WW2 the US was supplying russia with a huge amount of supplies. Without those supplies it may have turned over very different.

Plus Germany made a tactical error trying to advance during the Russian winter.

Ukraine was part of the USSR for WW2. Russia is doing this without the industrial base they had back then, and it's hard to sell this as an existential threat... They're not even calling it a war.

See the Russo Japanese War, Winter War, and invasion of Afganistan for more similar circumstances.

Crazy if true. I'm also shocked that Putin and Trump both mention ww3 hours apart...

Meanwhile Russia implements a draft for college age males.

GOP and Russias goals are aligned through and through. If it’s not clear to you now I can’t help you.

True. That’s Russias MO on most all things and always has been. Brute force. Throw all kinds of resources at the problem until the solution is acceptable. We can’t stop aiding Ukraine at this point. GOPseems hell bent on doing exactly that right now with control of the house.

A few thoughts on Russia:

If Italy doesn't invade Greece, costing Germany 6 weeks of precious good weather and delaying the operation, Moscow probsby falls. They were about two weeks away from falling as it happened.

Russia is making one new tank a day now and refurbishing/cannibalizing two tanks a day from their storage fields.

Russia is planning on absorbing Belarus by 2030 and are actively trying to overthrow the Moldovan leadership in favor of a Pro Russian one. They are also sowing discord and organizing pro russian protests.

Chinese money and weapons are about to flow. We are going to have to make some difficult decisions with China. The west is going to have to deal with this. Its not going to be pretty.

Stop being dramatic and fear mongering. Biden's in charge. He's got this. 🙄😁

Ok so why stop finding Ukraine then and helping them get into the EU. That would protect Moldova and probably make Belarus think twice about teaming up with Russia

I support the west funding Ukraine. The US, Nato, EU. I support Biden on this.
I disagree with other Republicans on this.
I don't think Belarus is going to have the ability to think twice in the near future as Russia has plans for them to become part of Russia.

I support the weapons to Ukraine. I do think we’re owed some transparency and QC as to where the money goes and how it is used. I also wish we gave them long range stuff earlier and equipped them to have more of an advantage. I also think we need to maintain a minimum amount of weapons here and question our own readiness in terms of rockets and inventory. I also think the EU must do more as were lopsided in the donations and this their backyard. The Germans are a worthless alliance.

Belarus may as well already be Russia.

I can touch on this with great authority.

We already do this and are in no danger of running out of munitions. None.

Transgenders are expressly allowed to serve as the gender they identify as….about 21.4% of the total transgender population in the US is estimated to have served in the military. Have you thanked a transgendered service person today?

Lol oof
