Anyone who is playing michigan or usc is a friend of mine. And when the world is cruel enough to match them against each other, I hope for the worst and most embarrassing football game ever played.

I remember going to the Mich State - Alabama bowl game in 2010 and it was an absolute blood bath. MSU seriously looked like an FCS team.

This probably won't be that bad, but it surely won't be pretty.

I sort of feel bad for the Big 10, because this will just add to their terrible reputation vis a vis the SEC.

Yeah....most of the time I agree with you, but in this case I hope Alabama absolutely jail-sexes Michigan. Michigan deserves it. ND getting a crack at a (very beatable) top-5 team at home in the event Michigan somehow wins this game is a nice consolation prize, but my first choice is a humiliating, emasculating defeat for the skunkbears. I think 48-3 is realistic, although I would gladly take a wider margin.

I agree with you. I want Michigan to win, but it will be hard to root for them when watching the game. I dont want to wish an injury on anyone, but if this is a blood bath with Michigan winning...I wouldn't be to mad.

I'm with you on this one brotha! I will be there and I hope Alabama rolls all over Michigan. Who knows though footballs are shaped funny and anything can happen. I'm more excited to wake up and watch ND play! I get to watch it at 8 too!

Ah, I see. That IS a tough situation to be in. I think at some point you measure up which side of the family you love more, and roll with that crew (whether it be ND or Michigan). My college roommate during ND undergrad went to Michigan for his PHD. Thankfully, there was very little conflict of interest when it came down to true loyalty. He remained Irish all the way. Different scenario though.

Bob I am going to have to go against you on this one. While there is not much more I would like to see in NCAAF than Robinson get royal destroyed by anyone and everyone I would like to see them roll into South Bend 100% health and thinking they are the greatest. That would make us whooping the crap out of them that much more enjoyable. I do not want a possibility of an excuse on why they lost other than we were better.

I see people saying "I hope michigan wins so we can beat them and get more credit." If we win games, we will go where we want to go, regardless of how the Michigan/Bama turns out.

I am 100% behind Alabama for this game, a Michigan win would solidify their recruiting class and give the program tons of momentum, an embarrassing loss and going 7-5 for the year would mean so much more to ND fans than Michigan beating Bama and then us beating Michigan. This schedule is already tough, if we win the games, we will get the respect in the polls. I hope Michigan loses by 20 points.
