But Rush is amazing and I will not stand for this! So I sit while I type this with my depends comforting my coddled behind.
Mason was amazing,... and shall be missed. That's all I can give you at the moment on this issue.

Dave Mason passed. One of the founding members of Traffic. Also plaayed with Hendrix, Clapton, Harrison and many others. RIP Dave.

Only You Know and I Know is one of my all-time favorite songs. I can't believe that I didn't know this until yesterday, but Mason wrote Feelin' Alright that Joe Cocker turned into a huge hit.

Had a big solo hit w/ “We Just Disagree” which I believe was covered years later by a country artist. RIP

I obviously respect his impact, and am sad he's gone. He had to have done something right,... but two things would come on my favorite classic rock stations that would instantly make me turn the channel. Anything by that horrible Canadian three-piece band that rhymes with "Hush", and any time Bob and Tom took over the station. They just never did it for me, I guess.
Van Halen was the anti Rush version of Rock. No denying Neil Pearts abilities who carried the band but Geddy Lee reminded of witchy Pooh. I envisioned Rush headlining for the crowd on comicon.

I never thought about that, but yeah. :) Whose bingo card had Witchiepoo being mentioned multiple times on IE this month?

Country singer David Allan Coe has passed away at 86. You Never Even Called Me By My Name is one of the most famous and fun to sing along to songs ever. Coe was definitely built differently, but had quite the dedicated fan base.

He had some funny stuff. This was the first one I ever heard him do and was always the song I thought of first when I heard his name, classic.

I thought he did "Itty Bitty Titties" too, but that was Ken Carlisle I think.

Saw him play in Fort Wayne way back when I was in college.

CNN founder and former Braves owner Ted Turner has passed away.
His love for Atlanta and the Braves made them the franchise they are today!! Plus, cnn changed news forever. Unfortunately, not necessarily for the best in the current day environment. IMHO.

A real pioneer in broadcasting. Not sure where cable TV would be today if he hadn’t been around.

Always had crazy and popular promotions.

My wife did DAC’s hair back in the day (what was actually his hair vs what wasn’t his hair) when we lived in Nashville. She didn’t really know his music or realize his contributions to his genre of music. She just said he was a dirty ole man. 😂

your wife was spot on…LOL! I’d probably add in the word “bitter” as well.
