surprised it took that long. they should have kept him out west. WV is way too close to Boston and the NE rackets. somebody just got their family cared for.

He was in Florida until they moved him to WV for health reasons. Apparently some inmate wanted to save the taxpayers some money. He better be ready as his final sentencing is about to happen.

heard this morning (I wasn't paying close attention) that it looks like someone beat him to death with a padlock in bag or pillow cover while he was in a wheel chair. Something about the suspect being in for organized crime...

My buddy owns a collectible shop near Cincinnati. He got news pretty early about the death of Stan Lee, so he went to check Ebay to see how many completed auctions were done recently that included merchandise or collectibles with Stan's autograph...there were 3. A few hours later there were 200+, unreal.

RIP, Stan has done an amazing job captivating the imagination of Marvel fans over the years. He made a big enough impact in comic books, but it's crazy to see how super hero movies have really taken off in recent years. Who would have guessed 15 years ago what a big impact the MCU would have in the realm of movies.

My circle of friends has many more comic book nerds than sports nerds (I'm def in the minority among us) one of my good buddies (friend of IE's TDHeysus as well) is pretty sad over it.

Roy Clark has passed away at the age of 85. Best known as the host of Hee Haw, Clark was an exceptionally talented multi-instrumentalist. I wasn't a fan of his style of music, but I recognized that the guy could play a guitar about as well as anyone in the world.

remember watching Hee Haw growing up, but especially "down home" at my grandfathers farm. always remembered these too when Roy comes to mind.

Sad news yesterday for sure. While Tammy may have been over the top, she was really no different than the rest of us - she was just more openly passionate about her team. Prayers to her family and War Eagle.

I'm not sure there was anyone on Earth who was better than Roy Clark and Chet Atkins. Maybe a classical player like Sagovia or an obscure jazz player. Those two were just incredible.

Glenn Campbell and believe it or not, Jerry Reed, we're just a notch below them.

The good old days when music seemed to be pure and come from places other than computers and mega producers.

Segovia or other Flamenco masters Paco de Lucia, Camaron de la Isla & Tomatito. When someone of Roy Clark's other-worldly talent wants to prove their abilities, they play FLamenco. Here's a personal fav vid of mine. Betcha didn't know Hugh Jackman could pick.

Incredible stuff. There comes a point where an instrument becomes an extension of yourself.
