Yeah, I mean, what’s considered hype as far as music is concerned these days is definitely not what was/is hype for the middle-age + ND fan (generally speaking). Plus, the whole rock vs. rap debate still rages on. Not to mention, rap is less about lyricism these days and more about manipulating the voice to be a sound effect, and the beat jacking is often sampling 90s rap songs that sampled the OG songs. I learned to appreciate the effort and the time and just roll at the skating party when I’m put there. No biggie.
