there was a good one of Iowa ripping off a punt and then it being caught for a TD that made me lol
I love it, people are likely just trolling their media team for putting the highlight together like that. Absolute trashOkay, the original premise was funny, but like...why are there still videos coming out? It's been debunked, he actually caught the ball.
Yeah, they did invite controversy with the weird cut. Would have been better showing the full clip and then tack the closeup catch at the end.I love it, people are likely just trolling their media team for putting the highlight together like that. Absolute trash
I mean, is ND's media team so much better????I love it, people are likely just trolling their media team for putting the highlight together like that. Absolute trash

Almost. Basically, College Football is also trying to join LIV Golf.College Football teams are trying to secure oil money in the Middle East now? Did I read that right?

Pretty soon we’ll see Jack Ma ”sponsoring” some players…….then the Russian oligarchs will get into the mix…….its all about financial diversification baby! Can't wait to see the reactions of fan bases in the Rust Belt and Sun Belt when that starts happening. One goof at Colorado under Coach Prime is one thing, but if this truly is inevitable, I'm very curious to see how fans react to it.
Who am I kidding....the majority of the rubes that support these football programs won't give a frog's fat ass where the money comes from.

Yep. All someone has to do is launder er uhm invest their money in private equity funds and away we go.Unfortunately it's inevitable.
And it will still be the kids getting their cut that is the major problem for people and not at all what the adults are doing behind the curtain. Same as it ever was. The players are always going to be the problem.Pretty soon we’ll see Jack Ma ”sponsoring” some players…….then the Russian oligarchs will get into the mix…….its all about financial diversification baby!

What a complete trainwreck.
Any goodwill that may have happened with JSU is getting totally flushed down the diamond coated gold toilet in Boulder.
Florida State has been talking with private equity firms for awhile now too haven't they? At some point big money's big money, whether it's Saudi or Russian or good old American capitalism. Can't wait to see the reactions of fan bases in the Rust Belt and Sun Belt when that starts happening. He's claiming he acted on his own without direction from the university, athletic department or Deion. He wasn't put in charge of anything.Florida State has been talking with private equity firms for awhile now too haven't they? What I can't understand is why would you put an on-field coach in charge of this effort? Maybe this Trevor Reilly has some hidden experience in international finance, but looks like mostly he was a pretty good linebacker at Utah 10 years ago who spent a little time on NFL practice squads and then went into coaching. Aren't most special teams coordinator jobs mainly about recruiting?
I think it could be a very respectable program again on the field without the circus and the bullshit this guy has brought with it. They probably won't cash as many checks but they could absolutely be a team that consistently goes to bowl games and puts together decent seasons with a competitive team.Lot of locals and supporters of the program are counting down the days till the end of the season. Don't see how he's here much longer once his kids are out of the program
Both were wrong about him. I was right there with you thinking he was going to be a success. And I think you're right, there's no reason they can't be a team consistently going to bowl games. They have plenty of positives they can sell in the recruiting trailI think it could be a very respectable program again on the field without the circus and the bullshit this guy has brought with it. Might end up being the only good that comes from this. I was 100% wrong about this guy.
I read Reilly saying he took what is a pretty low salary for a P5 assistant coach - $90,000 - to spend most of his time working on NIL deals. He's claiming he acted on his own without direction from the university, athletic department or Deion. He wasn't put in charge of anything.
