I follow several betting lines on the election. Late September they all had Harris to win around 52%. Today it's Trump at 57% to win, and that number has been steadily climbing.
And Hillary had an 80% chance of winning according to the betting sites. That's a meaningless number.

The polls were right. They had her up 4ish. She won the popular vote by 2%. Within the MOE. Harris is leading 4/7 swing states right now. She wins those it's over.

"They're" not going to pay anything. He doesn't understand how tariffs work.
Lol. Tarrifs are a helluva bargaining chip. Imagine that money paying down the debt and getting Vietnam to produce the product.

Lol. Explain it to us. You don’t want to keep the dollar we’ll go to another country. It’s called leverage my man but I don’t think u get that.

I think it dropped to 62% the last couple of days. Or that could have been Nate Silvers prediction. Some people saw something happening.

But you're right, it's too early and it's just a percentage.

Someone asked who will take Trump's place after this election, DeSantis or Vance. At this point I think it's Vance. He's a strong speaker and seems to have some charisma, handles tough questions well and seems pretty comfortable speaking in either debates or interviews. DeSantis isn't the worst speaker, but at times he comes across stiff and uncomfortable I think. I'd love to see Vance /w Tulsi as VP.

In your mind who is paying these imaginary tariffs?

She's a functioning moron who can't speak without a teleprompter if she doesn't do interviews. She does do interviews she's desperate and on her last gasp.

Literally can't win with some of you lol.
To me it’s mostly that she inherited Joe’s campaign staff that has been historically media phobic, and the entire start of the campaign she carried it forward. It was working as the media carried her water for her. A pretty significant pivot like this so close to the election indicates that they don’t think as working anymore.

I'm not disagreeing with that in the slightest, only stating the party as a whole hadn't moved as far left over 20 years like you stated. And I was using that as evidence. They had an opportunity to move much further left and didn't.
Both things can be true here. I see the party moving left of left, and throwing in two candidates in 8 years who are so unlikeable they could both (Hillary and Kamala) lose to Trump. Off the top of my head...

Obama brought ACA and unfroze billions in assets for a terrorist regime in Iran.

Biden ushered in 10-15 million illegals in 3 years.

Kamala was voted most liberal senator in the nation and says she wouldn't do anything different than Biden did.

These are things inconceivable during the Clinton years, and not even for Gore had he won in 2000.

Not mentioned: spending, stimulus plans, Covid lockdowns, trying to mandate Covid jabs, trying to forgive trillions in student debt, and all social issues.

I think we splitting hairs, both parties have moved further to their perspective sides over the last ten years. Spending is a disingenuous argument when each party continues to try and outspend the other. It's not really something either party can really say they're doing anything to improve. I don't get the social issue argument when they've basically been fighting for the same social issues for the last 50 years. The others I can see the argument for the others tho.

These boys are having a hard time understanding leverage. They’re probably Democrats.

She is a functioning moron. That's sorta the bind here. She needs to get out and do stuff but she's so bad at it that idk if it really is gonna help.

Right now it feels like she's just throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.

Harris continues to have very good polling numbers that reversed the Biden losses, has more than doubled Trump in fundraising, has twice as much cash on hand, kicked Trump's ass in the debate, and now we've moved from criticisms of 'no interviews' to interviewing on Fox News being a desperate move.

Yes, it hasn't been a super memorable campaign historically speaking but arguably this has been a wise campaign all things considered. Even given the differences in how Harris vs. Trump are judged (massively!) I don't think many expected Harris to be doing this well. Trump hasn't had any momentum since she came on.
NPR polls show things moving toward Trump.

But with less than a month to go before election day, Harris’s honeymoon period in Michigan could be ending, leaving her pathway to victory less certain. A Quinnipiac poll last week indicated Donald Trump is leading in the swing state by three points.

"You go to Europe, you can't sell a Ford or GM. Why? There's 100% tariffs."

Did anybody think to fact-check that?
I don't agree with that particular statement because it's an exaggeration, but the number of Ford and Chevy's that were sold in Europe has been declining steadily over the last few years.
