And to me and I think others a lot of the time that comes off as indirect defense of Trump. Like I get it I'm not the biggest fan of either of them, but when the conversation is about Trump and someone dumps on Biden, it kind of comes off like the kid getting talked to for not doing something right and they respond with "well Timmy did this and you didn't say anything to him". Not sure if that's the best example but that's how it comes off too me.

I think the way Biden and Harris have handled pretty much everything has been subpar. I just hate when the conversation is about Trump doing something and it immediately gets pivoted to Biden and Harris. I think it's a joke that the last candidates we've had to view between have been Clinton, Biden, Harris and Trump. I'd rather us move to ranked choice voting and going back to the really old school way of voting for president and VP. Number 1 vote getter is president and number 2 is VP. Get rid of a president and VP ticket. Force the parties to work together for the betterment of us citizens and the country as a whole

That's exactly what I did. I read the article and researched it, saw it was full of a lot of shit, and called out said shit.
I don't really have a problem with him reposting a bunch of silly memes of liberals in orange jumpsuits. He talked a bunch of empty threats about putting Hillary behind bars, but never took steps to do it. It's a repost of a meme at the end of the day. The only people that have tried to actually lock up political opponents have been in the Biden administration.

Good grief. This entire board is like that! Whenever a genuine "Bad Biden" moment happens, the "Yeah but Trump!" people come out of the woodworks. Open your eyes and stop being a damn hypocrite.

I've acknowledged the hypocrisy and I've never once posted in defense of Biden and I've been very clear that I'm not a fan of his.

We will agree to disagree on the Biden administration being the only ones to lock up political opponents. Trump is dealing with the consequences of his actions finally.

He's threatening to do it now. It's been pretty clear that Trump's issues have been at the state level and nothing from Biden's administration. For a bunch of people want to holding people accountable for their actions the people defending Trump sure don't seem to care that he's being held accountable from a jury of his peers, the charges brought from Jack Smith went before a grand jury. It's not like he's being charged in military tribunals like he's repeatedly threatened his opponents with

He threatened to lock up Hillary too, but never made a move to. Do you really think he's going to go after Pelosi, Kamala, etc if he gets into office again, just because he reposted some silly memes? What would he charge them with?

I said "The only people that have tried to actually lock up political opponents have been in the Biden administration." You don't think Biden hasn't tried? He claimed he knew nothing about the Mar-a-Lago raid, yet he was the one that authorized it.

Trump wasn't arrested from that was he? And should we tolerate anyone taking to secret documents from the government, store them non securely, brag and show them off to people, and refuse to return the documents? Biden was just as much in the wrong when had top secret documents at his house, but he didn't do all of the above

IMO - As Biden is exposed as a figurehead that does and decides nothing - Dems are exposed as preferring this method of governance. They really want the unelected bureaucrats to run everything. Comforted by daddy paying all their bills and telling them what they can and can't do it really is anti-freedom on multiple levels.

Except a good chunk of that isn't true or completely misrepresents her stance on topics. She just said yesterday for instance that she doesn't support banning fracking but supports the continued investment in clean energy jobs.

Sorry I feel we can and should hold our president to higher standards. I've made it clear I don't support either party. I was a fan of the deregulation stuff from Trump. He completely lost me in summer of 2020 and I don't feel like his actions are worthy of being president. We have two options as president so I've researched both a lot. I'm not going to apologize for calling out a post of twitter user posting disinformation. We should hold each other to high standards when it comes to properly researching our candidates and their positions.

To the contrary, it shows how she consistently and clearly voiced radical positions like”make no mistake, I support banning fracking” and then once she became the nominee, through aides, backtracked on most of these positions and we are just supposed to believe that she no longer holds any of these views she campaigned on only 4 years ago. These are her words and her positions.

So then how are we supposed to feel about JD Vance and ask the other Republicans that said they would never support Trump to only 4 years later all publicly backing him and saying how great he is?
