This is as bad and phony as her fake Facetime call where she said, "Girl, I'm out here on these streets" with a fake ebonics accent she doesn't normally use. She's just a pandering phony.
I'm just not sure I could put up with her constant irritating laugh for four years. She laughs at everything she says.

She slips into/uses African American English which is a recognized and distinct dialect. So crazy that a black person would doing such a thing!

News flash, just about every African American I’ve ever hung out with uses that dialect when they are in a comfortable setting.

Hilarious seeing an uninformed white dude attempting to be an authority on this.
Accent and dialect are not the same thing. We're talking about her accent.

Cool!

Accent/dialect are basically the same thing.

Since you seem to be the expert on these matters maybe you could inform me on how I should pronounce chingate cabron?
uh no. A quick google search.

While a dialect can include differences in pronunciations from the language it comes from, it also includes differences in vocabulary and grammar
. The word accent, however, describes just a distinct way of pronouncing a language. It does not include differences in vocabulary and grammar.

Accent refers to pronunciation. Dialect refers to a whole group of language features, including pronunciation, but also differences in vocabulary, grammar, and how the language gets used (like the rules of what counts as polite)

Literally any interaction with the Bagel, reminds me of this great video. “All you radicals think it’s ok to call me a bigot for using a slur!!! You’re not Daddy Donald!”

That dude needs to get laid! lol

Any particular reason you regularly bring up the race/bigot card?

You know as well as everyone else that her pivot is strictly to garner votes. Once in, she'll revert back.

What I find amusing is, that not that long ago Dems were bemoaning Harris, her lack of policy and popularity. Biden says he's quitting and all of a sudden Harris is the savior. lol
Earlier in the Biden reelection campaign, they wanted Harris replaced for another VP candidate.

About the disaster part? Yeah.

The hold up was because he refused to allow them to do live fact checking, probably because he's a lying twat.

Keep carrying that water though.

There was an equipment issue on their end with the microphones. Keep carrying that water yourself.

Says who? Reporters were live tweeting that there was a holdup back stage involving live fact checking.

Who or what am I carrying water for, exactly?

Tell me what went well for him yesterday? You can't. He looks like a jackass as usual and did it to himself, as usual, but we get to hear all about how it's always someone else's fault and how Mr. Strongman gets treated unfairly with nasty questions. Has there ever been a bigger bitch of a tough guy? He got hauled off stage after a complete shit fuck charade of 34 minutes where he was met with silence, laughter and jeers from the audience. He actually seemed surprised it was a room full of black people when he walked out. JFC.

His team cut off the question about Project 2025. He was his typically rude, asshat self and there really wasn't anything he said that would have swayed anyone outside of the base he already has.

It was brutal.

How would that hold them up for 35 minutes? That makes no sense?

is there a time limit on hold ups? I believe they can also be referred to as "stand offs"? I could be wrong.

He's a 78 year old toddler. He was the hold up. It was ultimately a waste of everyone's time that went incredibly awful for him, but whatever.

If you are given an hour (or whatever it was) of a former President and current Presidential nominee's time and you use half of it trying to negotiate terms... that's on you.

Did you even watch the entire thing, or are you regurgitating what the Guardian or someone else came back with?

There were multiple mentions of issues with the microphones throughout the interview, and not just by Trump. Did you miss that? Harris mentioned at the other end that she had trouble hearing Trump as well as he was having trouble hearing her.

90% of the interview wasn't brutal. Trump handled a lot of tough questions fairly well, and they certainly weren't offering up softballs. There were a lot of questions about stupid stuff Vance has said, questions about January 6th, conspiracy theories, etc. The first 10% of the interview was pretty brutal, but to be fair that first interviewer definitely came out swinging hard. She was rather confrontational compared to the other two interviewers.

How was he being a bitch? He walked into a tough environment and handled most of the questions very well. He didn't have to do that interview, he easily could have not shown up. Supposedly Kamala was supposed to be there too and backed out, so the focus was 100% on him.

I posted about it in the other thread, but the Project 25 thing has been debunked enough already. Trump hasn't claimed it and has said it's not part of his platform, which is not. This has been fact checked. It's the latest Democrat boogeyman though, so they're going to push it till election day.

He is clearly the obvious pick for the Dems. Pennsylvania is the single most important seat for them to pick up. While Kamala has gained back a lot of the ground lost by sleepy Joe, Trump has maintained a lead ahead of MOE in PA. The only reason you don't pick him is if you're worried about losing the Hamas-faction of the Democrat party.

I think the party is too anti-Semitic right now to pick a jew. Lots of Jewish hostility. Might make Chicago's convention a hoot to watch though.

I think to solidify PA and right some of the negative press around the antisemitism, they would be hard pressed to find a better VP candidate in such short notice.

I just saw Shapiro tweeted this. I gotta say, with the growing number of people on the spectrum in recent decades, especially young kids that are aging out of support structures like school/free therapies, this is a smart move for PA and I applaud it. I've got concerns for my own son and what resources will be available to him and his caretakers once my wife and I pass on.

I think the question is how many of the Pro Palestinian votes will they lose vs. how many Jewish votes they will gain?

Everyone regardless of which side of the aisle you're on should support this type of action.
