8 wins during the 2012 schedule is a victory in and of itself.

Overall Record: 9-3 (we win one of the toss-ups)
Wins: Navy, Purdue, Miami, Stanford, BYU, Pitt, BC, Wake
Losses: I see no games as 100% losses. The closest thing to a sure loss would be USC at the end of the year. It all depends on if a QB shows up.
Toss ups: Michigan (even though we're going to rail them), Oklahoma, MSU (only because we're on the road and they always play us close), USC (although I don't feel very good about our chances)
Offensive MVP: Golson. Please, God, let it be Golson.
Defensive MVP: Te'o. He's going to have a breakout year.
Bowl Game: I don't even know what we're eligible for now that we've wasted our Champs Sports Bowl appearance. Regardless, it's not BCS so it doesn't matter.
Best Tailgating Beer: I'm underage so I'm not going to put anything here....
Inanimate object most likely to meet its demise: My relationship with my girlfriend if she's ever bold enough to watch a game with me.

Im not very familiar with the bcs rankings, but if we were 9-3 with losses to OK USC and MSU, three very good teams, we wouldnt make any bcs bowls?

Given how hard our schedule is, we might be top 14 at 9-3. Would really depend on when, how, and to whom we lost.

Looking back at the previous two I nailed it two years running, pretty cool I guess, though I would have loved to have been wrong.

I'll chime in with my picks a bit later.

I'm surprised at the large number of posters here who are placing Stanford in the W column for us. Given the lay-out of our schedule, the Tree strikes me as an obvious 3rd-most-difficult opponent (after OU and USC).

It's at least a toss-up game.

Too many question marks for the tree.

Sounds like us.

Not saying I expect us to lose, but if we're ordering our opponents based on expected difficulty, who's ahead of Stanford other than OU and SC? MSU seems to be the only plausible alternative for 3rd-most-difficult opponent, but they've got at least as many question marks, and we get them after Purdue.

Michigan will be good.

State will be good.

OU at Norman will be ridiculous. (future HOF QB, IMO.)

USC.

That's my 4,3,2,1 order.
