You can, but it gives such a paltry amount it isn't even worth mentioning.

You get reps when people like or agree with your post. Posters click on the Scales Icon in the far left column under your name. The Scales are in the center of the bottom row.

Newbies start with 0 reps and 0 rep power. They gain reps by others clicking on the scale of the post they agree with or like. They lose reps when posters disagree. You gain rep power by giving reps to others. In the early days when we all started out at 0 Rep Points yours grew by 1, 2, or say 10 points depending upon the rep power of others. Today with people having Reps of 54,034, as an example, those getting repped can add up Reps Received in a hurry.

The ability to Rep to the same poster is limited. If you give that poster a couple of reps recently you may get a dialog box telling you that you can't rep that individual unless you spread some reps around to other. The participation trophy concept, everybody gets some. For that reason some posters buy Unlimited Rep power from the vbPlaza. For about 30,000 vbucks you can buy Unlimited reps to give the same poster over and over in the same day (assuming they're a quality poster worth repping frequently). The downside is instead of them getting say 54,034 points at a pop now only they get 1 point. The other side of that is that's what posters used to get in the early days when everyone was a new poster. Now if you DISAPPROVE with a post and you give DISAPPROVE reps, commonly called NEG reps here, you check "I disapprove" in the Reputation dialog box and you just slammed that individual with the deducted reps or whatever you Reputation Power is. If it's Irish YJ's 54,034 points you truly whacked the poster.

Quite a few of the people with large Rep Power have purchased Unlimited Repuation per day so they don't whack someone for 50,000 reps, or so, because it's so significant hit. Some posters return to the normal rep (limited per day but full points) when NEG repping trolls. Getting the most bang for the vbucks. You have to purchase that through vbPlaza. Then if you chose you can once again return to Unlimited Reps by making that purchase, again, at vbPlaza. Go to vbPlaza in the Gold Banner near the top of the page when the menu items are listed. Scroll Down to Most Sold and click. Then scroll down to #21 Unlimited Reputation Per Day, click on that and you'll get a dialog box asking, "Do you really want to purchase Unlimited Reputation Per Day?" If you do, click on "Purchase". You have to have enough vbucks in CASH in your personal account to cover the cost of purchase. That's why your vbank account shows in that window.

If you wish to try your repping skills, go to the left of this post and click on the Scale Icon in the center of the bottom row. When the Reputation dialog box opens, click on "I approve", add a comment if you choose, and click on "Add To Reputation".
