1. 10-0. I didn't think it would happen. This season has been a fairy tale season already. But who would have believed that it would be possible for ND to go 10-3 this year, and have it be a HUGE disappointment?

2. This team is YOUNG..... There are underclassmen starting all over the place. There are some really important positions, though, that are senior *****. ILB, Tailback, and the Oline being some.

3. BC took advantage of our LBs, early in the game. They threw a lot of screens behind the D-Line, and a lot of quick hitters to the outside. It was a great game plan, until the D settled down and adjusted. That's something this team is doing SO much better than the Weis teams............ in game adjustments.

4. You know how we always say that the first BCS poll shouldn't come out until after about the 4th or 5th week? Well, some of you in the game day chat should STFU, until about the end of the 3rd, start of the 4th quarter. The defense was getting gashed a bit, in the first half. Especially in the 1st quarter. But they made the adjustments, settled down, and did not allow BC into the end zone. They gave up right at 300 yards, and only 6 points.

5. Having said that...... one could make an argument that starting off that slow against a team like, say, maybe........ Oregon........ might put you into a hole so deep that you can't get out of it. And there's a valid point to be made there. I hope that the coaching staff preaching this, every day.

6. Golson continues to just get better. But he still has a lot of work to do, to be great. He still throws one or two balls, every game, that I just cringe and wonder how the he!! the defender did NOT intercept that. But you can see the growth in him. He's playing very well, for a sophomore.

- Offense is improving every week. We have to make some strides in the next two weeks in tempo.

- I think some of our guys, Teo in particular, are still battling the flu.

- This week's injury report might be ugly.

- Boston College is a piece of $hit football program.

- Ishaq made strides. Really good effort today.

- We are 10-0, regardless of how anyone feels about our play the last couple weeks.... remember that.

This is my franchise. I've been doing these threads since about 06. Riddickulous has been trying to horn in on the action since last year. But, for the few weeks that I haven't been able to be online immediately following the game, I'm sure people have appreciated his thread.

Don't worry, Kmoose. Us "Old Guard" know what's up. We wouldn't miss a beat with your post game threads.

Didn't know starting threads was so important. I'll start taking note.

It's not. But pointing out that someone else has a (fake) rolex (and not realizing that it is fake), when the person you are talking to is wearing the real thing, is a good way to get a frown.

You tried calling out BGIF earlier today as well. Since you just joined in Sept, maybe you should think a bit more before you post?

I seriously contemplated neg repping you both times, which is saying something considering I have only neg repped people probably 3-4 times in four years.

Got it. A thread on a message board posted by the wrong poster is like a fake rolex watch.

I don't equate the # of posts with the argument being made sorry...

Mind telling me what Golson's Qb rating was today?

It's not number of posts that i'm talking about. It's about you calling out long time posters for things that make zero sense and then getting all butt hurt about it. You have been here for a couple months and you are trying to tell guys that have been here for several years that they are wrong about things they are not. You are looking like the d!ck, not them...

*EDIT - Actually... f*ck it... I am neg repping you.

You should read your sig, dude...

Instead of crying just post WHY you disagree with my statements instead of whining about the poster I disagree with.

I promise I won't neg rep you, because it's just your opinion man......

Starting threads isn't. Putting thought and substance into them is. Something kmoose does before opening the Post Game Observation Thread after the games.

This is your third thread today with a wiseass comment that several different people have commented on. You didn't have thought or substance in any of them, just cracks. That's a Post Game Posting Observation.

Please just shut up... I specifically explained why I disagreed with you. Just another completely ignorant comment by you...

I posted it in the GameDay thread as usual.

Why don't you try providing something besides sniping?

Hopefully Golson will start seeing the field more in upcoming games and film. There were a couple of times that he could have thrown down the middle to Eifert and Toma for possible 6's. I know it is easy to see the routes with 'Television Eyes' but, seeing over those big lineman when he is in the pocket seems to be tough for him. I see why Kelly rolls him out; he is very good when he goes mobile. Very satisfied with his play overall. Teo - when he plays his last second for the Irish .... I will cry. Hate to see the young man go. I am so grateful to see how he has matured and become an excellent NFL prospect. 10-0 baby.

GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!

Shembo was unblockable again today. Man, when he is on, it seems like he is in the backfield on every play. Great game by #55. Loved seeing Te'o get his 6th pick in what was an otherwise quiet game from him. Also loved seeing Tuitt get to double digit sacks for the year. Kid is a beast and will probably break many records in his time at ND. Didn't think Nix should have been tossed...but I guess it wasn't that big of a deal because the game was essentially over by then anyways. Corners played another great game, although Bennett had a pick go through his hands. Overall the D played great and I didn't see many (if any) missed tackles.

Offense played well...although I think this game is a blowout if GA and Riddick don't fumble the ball. Didn't cost us here, but they had better hold onto the rock vs USC and the bowl game. EG played very well and made some nice throws.

I would have laughed at you before the season if you told me the Irish would be 10-0 heading into the Wake game...but now I firmly believe that we end the season undefeated. I am so excited to see this team prove the critics wrong week in and week out. Bring on Wake and USC. Go Irish!!!

As a family, we'll huddle as well. That will likely be the saddest part of our weekend... My son idolizes him and quite frankly, daddy thinks he pretty cool as well. Next week is going to be a tough one.
