At the game last night.......wow. I don't think i've ever been a part of something like that, especially the last couple mins when all the fair weather spartys had left, and all that left was the hardcore Irish fans. Everybody had a feeling of something special in the works......and with the team coming over to the stands at the end of the game, you could literally feel the electricity in the air! Very blessed to been able to be a part of it.....

Riddick and GAIII are playing ahead of McDaniel because they are faster and more talented. That is true regardless of the type of defense we play. Atkinson is going to be a huge star by the time he is finished with his career. He is a USC caliber tailback. He needs a bit more strength to go with his elite speed, but that will come.

You mean a Notre Dame caliber tailback?

I know we are giving him some props, but Prince Shembo easily played the best game of his career. I was always skeptical of his ability and would have rather had Ishaq in over him, but his relentless pursuit is something that can't be taught. Go Irish.

GA3 is faster yes, and will eventually become a monster (more than he is now), but Cam McDaniel is as talented a RB as Riddick and GA3 are in my opinion

Like I said earlier this week, this is one of the best front 7's in the country, there is no question about it. But watch out for next year, with the experience the secondary will have and with almost the entire front 7 returning...my goodness it might get scary.

I wasn't lucky enough to watch the game last night, I was on a camping trip. From what you guys are saying, the team played great and the team can be something special.

I've heard a lot of mention on Golson's completion % going down considerably in the MSU game, but it also seemed to me his development from the Purdue game to the MSU game is he is now throwing the ball away instead of taking sacks in pressure situations, which will obviously take the % down. He took a huge leap forward in just one short week, IMO. He took a few sacks against Purdue that killed a few drives, and we really didn't see that this week. The kid's development is going to be so much fun to watch. Getting better and better every week.

Observations from the game. Great team effort.

O-line stepped up, the receivers stepped up, Cierre Wood carried the team on the last drive that put the nail in the coffin (wish he stayed in bounds).

D-line dominated all day. Te'o and Shembo came up huge. Solid play from the secondary.

Golson did not have the best stat line but he cam through when he needed to and showed flashes of greatness.

Special teams were very good.

Not much to complain about, great win. Feell really bad for Slaughter, HUGE loss
