A Great Win!

Rees and Cam had big games in the First Half.

The D came alive when Rees went down. Tuitt, Nix, Day, a TEAM effort.

This team showed tenacity.


For most of the '11 season and much of this fans clamored for Hendrix. Tonight you got what you whined for. Hope Rees is ready to go next week!

We won they lost on to the next one.
Great job by the D to step it up tonight. It should hopefully carry over into the rest of the season.
The schedule lays out nicely for us to go into Stanford with 9 wins and pushing for a top 15 ranking after this week.

- Joe Schmidt and Tuitt are also my new favorite player.

Ok, in all seriousness, post game obs:

- Rees, Niklas, Cam, TJ, Ishaq, Tuitt, all played great.

- Hendrix needs to throw if he's going to be a QB. It's his 4th year, we cannot play competitive football if we don't trust him.

- Cole Luke and Devin Butler played PHENOMENAL.

- Jaylon Smith. No words can describe.

- Defense in the 2nd half, no words can describe.

What can I say? Speechless.

Observation #1. We all now know exactly why Tommy is the unequivocal starter.

Observation #2. Our D stepped up so huge in the second half... I don't even know how to describe it. That was unbelievable. Salute to Diaco, all the defensive assistants, and most of all the players for putting forth an insane effort.

Observation #3. Kelly is 3-1 against USC and I'm hoping we get some kids popping soon.

I don't think we completed a pass in the second half...Goes to show us how great defense was. To think I was scared after that first drive by SC

Nice win and this is a momentum win for us I think. Our defense is looking better and better and our offense was clicking when Rees was in.

We learned that even bad Rees is better than Hendrix. Fortunately, Rees plays poorly only half the time and played well this first half.

Somebody give KRussel some love. Kid made the play of the game with that hit in the last play against Aghalor and manned up all game in single coverage. Orgeron even mentioned how they were strugging against him at the half.

And on the Tommy vs Hendrix. I think both can help our team win. I thought against Oklahoma Hendrix would've been better because I feel like we would've overpowered them. Teams like this we need Tommy. I don't think we need Tommy the next two weeks.

I'll say it... I don't think that Hendrix is a competent QB. He got away surprising teams early in his career. But now, if he comes into a game, teams load 10 IN THE BOX.

I mean, when have you ever seen a QB get 10 in the box. That means he is simply not a real QB. I hope Rees can come back next week. Otherwise, we will struggle to beat any team. Hendrix isn't even an actual QB.

Good kid and an ND man for sure, not trying to dog him as a person. He is just a terrible football player.

It is astounding how much Hendrix has regressed. Nate Montana was infinitely superior to tonight's Andrew Hendrix. Maybe Hendrix needs some reps in something other than the Pistol.

Its really hard to come in the game when you have zero reps with those players and play effectively. I think Hendrix is an okay player. We'll see more next week if Rees can't go.
