Ultimately the game went the way I expected (sans a lot of wild shit in the middle,lol), if you stay committed to giving Hartman chances, he’s going to make good on them over the course of a game. We pulled away as they couldn’t stop our offense.

Took us awhile but then we got to roll.im the 2nd half or so. Only issue I had was a slower start and way too many penalties on the defense. We need to clean that up.. Honestly it went as well as I had hoped!! Go Irish!

Hartman played a B+ game. Missed a couple receivers and didn’t get help a couple times either, but after the rumble he was exceptional.

Offensive line gets a C from me. Early on looked like a D if it wasn’t for Estime’s 80 yard run. Correll had a rough one and Spindler was on the ground a lot. Some of Hartman’s struggles were because of the offensive line. I’m gonna keep an eye on Fisher in the rewatch.

Receivers get a C+. Love Greathouse, love tyree. Was very happy for Tobias, he should have had a second on the BS PI. Where was Jayden Thomas??

TEs get an A. It would be an A+ if it wasn’t for Evans’ bad drop. Real coming out party for Staes and happy for Sherwood being an NC native.

RBs get an A. Estime hit a gear I didn’t know he had. Price continues to look like the most natural RB on the roster. Love is a HR waiting to happen.

I am going to group the defense together as 1 for now until I get to rewatch, but I give them an A-. Impressive pressure throughout but they couldn’t get home. It disrupted Armstrong enough though that it was certainly impactful. Morrison should have had 2 picks. Watts to me looks like an NFL safety. This may have been DJ Brown’s best game for ND. Marist is flying around out there.

Lastly, Freeman gets an A+. He was excellent today and made Doeren look like an amateur out there.

Winning on the road isn’t easy and outside of a few uneasy moments, Notre Dame dominated this cow college.

Like I said pre-game, a 21 point win with some overcoming of adversity is exactly what this team needed to grow AND impress.

Not sure why Sneed isn't out there if we're going to slow blitz LBs.

Great to see Merriweather essentially catch two balls. He's gotta get going and that's a start.

I think I overrated JD and Kiser when I said they're "solid" and got heat for that.

Was hoping for more from Rylie Mills. Seems like the same old same old.

DBs are awesome. Mickens as our next DC would be Ok with me.

I think Parker can learn a lot from this game. Again overall great outcome/flow IMO.

Such a difficult game to get one’s mind around, but love the way we came out after the delay. Love the vibe of this team. Feels like a different kind of Notre Dame team and that is all on Coach Freeman! Dude is growing into a pretty darn good skipper!

Good Defense all game.
Overcame some adversity.
Hartman with 2 fumbles (!) but came through with an overall good game.
OL gelled in the 2nd half.
Freeman gnawed on refs-a positive.
Blew out a decent team-it is what good teams do.
