It just occurred to me, being from Ohio, the early game ABC featured between tOSU and Miami. Do you remember what the game buildup storyline was? Two teams with storied pasts, played for the NC ten years (or so) ago; both teams are at a crossroads. Both teams are making a name for themselves - both teams are looking to restore their reputations as a football power . . .

It is completely idiotic for any U fan to dispute what is being reported. The Yahoo reporter interviewed several of the players named and a large percentage confirmed the reports as either participants or witnesses.

I wasn't one to initially believe Miami could register a 10 on the scale, but after reading more about this...well, this is pretty amazing sh!t!! And virtually all of it was blatant and widespread.

To me though, the real 10 or 10+ that could come of this is Paul Dee. Lax has been preaching about him the past couple days...and he's been absolutely right. Think about it-- the dude who was assistant AD at Miami during their last losing bout with the NCAA over pell grants/Luther Campbell, the AD while a lot of this Shapiro stuff went down, and now the NCAA head...of the COMMITTEE ON INFRACTIONS! Holy sh!t-- this could get huge and have enormous ramifications throughout the NCAA regarding its own validity and viability.

The man who wrote the Yahoo story (Charles Robinson) was interviewed today and stated that he only reported what he could independently confirm, but there was a whole lot more he didn't report because he couldn't get confirmations.
He also said that all of the allegations they checked were true; none were proven false.
This didn't just involve Miami players but also recruits were involved along with the assistant coaches who were recruiting them.
Reportedly entire floors of South Beach hotels were rented for the sex parties where prostitutes were engaged for the entertainment of the guests.
It was also alleged that Shapiro got into a drunken argument with officials from the compliance department who had the next luxury box because he wanted to put a stripper pole in his box to entertain his guests during the game. They at that time knew he was involved with the football team but they didn't investigate his involvement.
This compliance department appears to be as inept as the Ohio State compliance department.
