Sorry FL- I wasn't being serious. I was alluding to some posts a few months ago where some dude started a thread questioning if Koyack had any potential.

Tyrann Mathieu - an unheralded three star recruit. Only major program offer was from LSU. Have you seen him play? Need I say more. It's what you see in, and what you do with, the three stars that makes you a top program. i.e. Texas always kills the 5 stars and look where they are, complacent with talent and stale with the coaching.

With how electrifying Mathieu has been, you’d think he was a can’t-miss high school prospect. However, Mathieu was rated as a three-star prospect by ESPN recruiting services and LSU was his only major offer. His next biggest were from Southern Miss and SMU.

Respect didn’t flow and Mathieu thinks recruiting scouts overlooked him, but it only provided motivation.

Junior corner Morris Claiborne saw the chip Mathieu hauled in on his shoulder the summer before his freshman year. He also saw how special Mathieu could be.

The frosh flew around 7-on-7s, working with the vets instead of his classmates, making play after play. Claiborne recalled that Mathieu had three interceptions during the first workout and the starters left wide-eyed and stunned.

Claiborne said Mathieu played with a rare confidence seen in young corners. He was brawny, athletic and incredibly disruptive.

Rankings are a liklihood of success not a determinant. There are over 1000 3 stars a year meaning if 4% of them find success they will outnumber 5 star successes every year. If you want to get into this debate again we can

why is it you trolls defend these guys i've been a fan since the days of coach ARA . and this recruitng th BK is doing of 2 and 3 star recruits is below what we use to be able to pull in. we use to be able to recruit the 4and 5 star recruits and since when do we not recruit qb's. this guy will be gone in 2 years and we again will be searching for a head coach.
