Scott did a shit job as NRSC. Prob why he didn’t go far here.Weird that the senators that saw Scott piss away hundreds of millions of dollars in a failed attempt to win the majority in 2022 didn't want him to be their majority leader. Didn't they see what @DarkMaga420 said in their twitter mentions?
Not sure if this is true but it’s funny

I think republicans have had nice things to say to him post October 7th when he was calling the ridiculous pro Hamas protestors what they were and standing by Israeli didn't have republicans saying nice things about Fetterman on my 2024 bingo card.
Anyone see anything about that Senate race in Pennsylvania where Democrats have been counting illegal ballots? Their Supreme Court ruled that ballots that aren't dated or aren't formally signed should be excluded, but Democrats have began counting them anyway. Now they've triggered a recount because the final total was within 1%. Kinda messed up.

Pa. Supreme court orders counties not to count disputed ballots in US Senate race
Pennsylvania's state Supreme Court on Monday weighed in on a flashpoint amid ongoing vote counting in the U.S. Senate election between Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and Republican David McCormick, ordering counties not to count mail-in ballots that lack a correct handwritten date on the return envelope.www.nbcphiladelphia.com
I saw that a House seat in California JUST flipped today too as the Democrat challenger went ahead by 36 votes. How are they still counting two weeks later? Steele was leading Tran by 11,000 votes two days after the election, but two weeks later they're counting mail in and provisional ballots still. There's been some wild shifts in the number of voters in that district from year to year too. There's no reason some districts should still be counting when most of the country was done over a week ago. Just seems shady, especially in states with looser election laws.
Just saw this too. High time to fix the election system in some of these states:

I don't know how this is even controversial. Republicans have a Senate majority and it is also notoriously easy to get across-the-aisle support for qualified candidates. If you can't get the votes, there is something very wrong with the person you nominated, and you should nominate someone better.No. Recess appointments are stupid in a modern era. This isn't part time lawmakers in a horse driven society. I'd argue for changing the law except there are strange unthinkable situations where it might be necessary.
Each and every selection should go through the Senate. Anyone suggesting otherwise is being silly. The Senate has a role in this. Asking for rubber stamps is akin to making the Senate a bunch of cuckolds sitting in the corner chair of a hotel room.

That's by design though. The legislative branch is the most powerful. There is not a single pick Trump has named who is uniquely capable of carrying out his edicts.I think they should have to pass the Senate as well. But if they start denying trumps people, I mean a lot of them I’ll rethink it. Then it becomes the establishment wanting to force Trump to fill the executive with their people.
The Senate doesn't represent votes. They represent states. Not people. The state itself. It's a bit meta to think about but necessary nonetheless.Yeah but senate didn’t just get entrusted with 76 million votes to execute their executive plan. Unfortunately GOPe is in sheep’s clothing imo. Biden people getting passed, all of em by them no serious push back under Biden. Senate should have some power but if they put trump (and voters) in a corner he’ll probably try to recess em.
This is the most lawyer shit you've ever wrote lol, I expect to see an invoice "ND: explaining the senate - 0.35 hrs at $400 an hour"The Senate doesn't represent votes. They represent states. Not people. The state itself. It's a bit meta to think about but necessary nonetheless.
The house is another matter. That's about people and voters.
That's funny! But it's also true. This is the most lawyer shit you've ever wrote lol, I expect to see an invoice "ND: explaining the senate - 0.35 hrs at $400 an hour"
