I usually find Bill Maher to be insufferably smarmy, but over the past year or two he's come to see the woke radical left as dangerous and bad for civilization. He's taken a particular dislike to hypocrites and the professional SJW's who protest & riot to stroke their ego and boost their social media presence. This short clip of him talking about them is 100% spot on and exactly what we on the Right have been saying for years. Welcome to our world, Bill.

Yup. There's just not enough money or power backing a 3rd party at this point in time, and there probably never will be. I think we'd need to see an independent party gain a lot of seats in Congress before a legitimate presidential candidate could win and they would have to be very influential with cash behind them. Trump is probably the closest any outsider will get considering he switched parties and had absolutely no previous political experience.

Ranked choice voting is the solution.

As crazy as it is to say it, it will take a complete and utter breakdown of the US as we know it before this machine that we call government changes from it's oligarchic ways. Rs and Ds are the same side of an evil coin, propped up and held in power by these massive corporations like Blackrock and Vanguard. The entire goal is money, power, and self preservation --> ie. to squash anything or anyone that threatens the status quo.

I don't see any way that a 3rd party candidate can win. I think Trump is going to win in a landslide and the Ds will point the finger at Kennedy as their scapegoat (just like they did with Russia....it's never them at fault....always someone or something else). They'll use the loss to further divide the country and clamp down on free and fair elections even more so than they already do. If Biden wins again, we'll just repeat the same post election chaos and election denial as before. It's lose lose, imo.

Always used to think Kennedy was an anti-vaxer and a conspiracy theorist, but the more I listen to him talk, he seems like a completely normal person to me. Will be very interesting to track his campaign, as he is polling as the highest third party candidate since Perot.

Dems are the only ones who pushed an election-rigging bill, HR-1. Requiring citizenship and ID is reasonable.

They are also making free speech harder on purpose.

I test drove an Accord this week. I had to present a DL and an insurance card, which thy made copies of, to do so.

Elections aren’t important enough to care who votes but they care even some one denies election results. You wouldn’t believe how strenuous it was for me to reach in my back pocket, pull out my ID and show it to the person working at the voting place. I’m glad I’m white because if I were a minority I’m not sure I could have handled that sort of difficulty.

The reason why RFK Jr is running third party is because of what the Dem Party did to make it almost impossible for him to get on some state ballots, get on a debate stage, get delegates, etc. They partake in gerrymandering, just like Rs have done. They're for open borders, yet conveniently against vote ID. As mentioned, the HR1 bill. Etc. I'm not going to act like Rs aren't guilty of trying to preserve their own positions, but if anyone thinks Dems are innocent within the topic of rigged elections, they're blind.

Still waiting for any of this crap to be true. At some point, we need to move on from the election rigging crap unless evidence appears. I don't recall ever claiming 2020 was rigged by dead people or illegals. I do think one could argue some states manipulated COVID to sacrifice election integrity, but that's a whole different claim.

A bunch of people are going to be pissed off this November. The flakier our elections are, the more justified it is. We need to make sure elections are secure. Always baffles me that we know Florida results by 8 PM and California and Michigan need a week.

I'd be fine with requiring them. In fact, when I switched polling places I had to show it.

That said, I do think IDs should be free of charge if they are to be required. Right or wrong, people will sue and win saying it's a form of poll tax if they have to be paid for.

Pretty sure state IDs are free… for the very purpose of voting.
