I got a dumb question for you. Why do you, an Alabama fan, grad, born and raised, spend so much time on a Notre Dame message board?

You probably spend more time here than any of the actual fans here. Nobody else on this board goes on other team’s boards, certainly no more than occasionally, yet here you are every waking hour of every day.

You spend half your time denigrating actual ND fans over their beliefs/opinions and the other half bloviating about how smart, wealthy, educated you are, what toys you have, etc. You rarely offer any opinions on ND football (ya know, the reason everyone else comes to this board.)

Football boards that only include like-minded fans are often involve a bunch of circle-jerking. There's few dissenting opinions, the boards get boring and die. I know you're new around here, but I'm the advocate for other team's posters. It's nothing new to see people that have contributed less begin to question Bishop, T-Town, whoever. I stick up for these guys so they have a friendly voice, but they're free to fight their own battles too. They fight them more often than they need to, quite frankly. They don't break any rules.

Because nobody ever questions why Bishop posts here unless it's a liberal in the Politics forum. I think the last poster to question Bishop or T Town about their IE posting outside of here was maybe Wooly ages ago...I'm talkin' like 8-10 years ago. That's how long these guys have been here. I came here nearly 11 years ago to see what you guys thought of the matchup of our two teams for the '12 championship and found that I liked the discussions, football and non-football. The Bama boards are boring: "I think we're gonna win it all again this year." "Yeah, I think so too." Lots of bright people here and good discussions about all sorts of things. And I've made friends, so here I am.

I never bloviate and the only time I've ever mentioned my education was when asked, it was relevant to the subject, or when, like today, my qualification to speak about something was questioned. I've never mentioned any toys, other than the fact that I collect guitars. You have no idea what sort of cars, boats, planes, motorhomes, or anything else I own or don't own, because I never mention such, so stop making up stuff to gripe about. That's what gets you in so much trouble... saying stupid, erroneous stuff. And yes, I do discuss ND football quite often, especially during the season.

As for being a pompous asshole, I'm far from it. I'm actually a very nice guy. The only people who think I'm a pompous asshole are those who insist on saying willfully dishonest, misinformed nonsense, then doubling down on it when rebutted. There are plenty of people in here who disagree with me on politics, but we get along fine because neither of us say stupid, dishonest stuff to each other. If you find yourself in my crosshairs and getting routinely savaged, it's because you ask for it. I don't tolerate willful stupidity kindly.

First please note the tweet text is commentary not a quote. Do you guys not know how tweets work? I’ve watched this video multiple times and also done digging on my own. In any case her child was suicidal over what appears to be wanting to transition. This is very much an issue with gender dysphoria nits well known. For her to not even be willing to entertain “anything” to help And be entirely against any healthcare solutions … it could have ended her child’s life. She explicitly said this and was quite clearly willing to uphold her personal beliefs over her child’s well-being. Those are her words from her mouth.

There are many options that don’t involve surgery or fully transitioning and she explicitly was not going to give in to her child’s desires blaming her suicidal thoughts instead of understanding she was suicidal because she was suffering with dysphoria. Her personal beliefs on protecting her child could very likely have hastened her successful attempts.

I’d be interested in hearing from the daughter specifically but there isn’t anything out there on that.

But what might be even more horrendous is that knowing this woman went through this with her child and she is still intent on making these decisions for other parents and kids struggling with the same thing taking the decision out of their and their doctors hands is monstrous. Fuck her.
