First, I spend maybe an hour and a half a day on IE. Second, I call people bigots and racists because they make bigoted or racist statements.

I do find it humorous that members of the party of “fuck your feelings” have a problem with my language, though.
Well motherfucker, I think it’s time for you to take you vulgar insensitive ass down to the Y and work off some off that tension.

Did I do that right?

Going to get harder and harder for people to buy homes with the significant increases in prices. Combine that with the fact that the younger generation seems to value the mobility of renting. Lots of Real Estate holding corporations buying up properties. There's likely to be a significant decrease in home ownership over time.

It's hard to get out of poverty in general. You have to make a lot of good choices and there isn't a large margin for error. Education would seem to be the key, but If you don't have anyone to help guide you, you either make dumb choices or you don't even try because the obstacle seems impossible to overcome.
Given that it is “proposed”, it has a long way to go to get passed. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the proposed requirements get changed.

While it is hard to get out of poverty, it's not hard in the same way that making it to the NFL or becoming an astronaut is hard. It's hard work, but it's straightforward and simple. Any US or Canadian citizen with reasonable mental and physical health can climb out of poverty. There are a few basic, tried-and-true rules that, if followed, all but guarantee escaping poverty.

1. Get an education.
2. Treat every job as an opportunity to improve your work skills and employee reputation.
3. Don't start a family until you can support a family.
4. Don't engage in criminal activity and don't associate with those who do.
5. Consistently put long-term reward ahead of immediate gratification.

Do those things and your odds of living in poverty drop to virtually nothing. There are more opportunities to climb out of poverty than ever before with the Internet and the opportunities it provides for distance work & education, as well as e-commerce.

Minorities per the article are much less likely to be a homeowner and married than white people. Blacks specifically are the least likely to own a home and be marrried followed by Hispanics.
Does that make encouraging families less worthwhile? A simple yes or no will do.

Can you provide a couple of studies where the data supports your theory?

What you deem bigoted or racist is highly subjective. In this forum, it seems like any opinion different than your own.

You can yell, scream, and curse every day in all caps for all I care. I'm just pointing out that it sounds childish and dilutes from the substance of discussion most of us are having.

I don't know what's being taught in school now when in comes to 'life'. I want to a west side Indy suburb school and I also went to an IPS school.

In both, I learned some really good things about life skills. It's there that I learned to save 10% of each check every time I get paid. Never buy a new car as it depreciates 20% the second you drive off the lot. How to make a budget, write a check, etc.

Just basic stuff like this can help kids who want to learn how to succeed. If they aren't still teaching this stuff, then shame on them.

The aclu is lost. A specific app is protected under the 1st amendment. By that logic, one would think they also recognize a specific gun is allowed under the Second…

I think its fine to buy a new car, provided you intend on driving it a long time. But reasonable minds can disagree there.
