You guys keep claiming DeSantis doesn't want history taught in Florida schools, which has been debunked (he just opposed a highly inaccurate, agenda-driven, woke version of history being taught). However, Virginia Democrats actually rejected a bill that would require Virginia schools to educate children about the evils of Communism and honor its victims. We teach about the evils of slavery and the evils of Nazi Germany under Hitler, and we absolutely should educate our youth about the evils of them, but let's be honest here - Communism killed so many people in the 20th Century that it made slavery and the Nazis look like inept amateurs. I guess the Left only wants to teach "some" history.

Here's my stance - teach kids as much as you can. If we want to teach them the evils of specific economic systems, we better teach them all the evils of corruption that manifests in each system. I can almost guarantee if school systems started to teach about the reasons behind child labour for example, there would be a ton of people calling it whatever buzzword they like that day.

Pretty sure Texas has a healthy Hispanic population who would benefit from the tax cut. Average size of Hispanic families is 3.8 compared to 3.2 for the national average.

Sounds less like a white or black thing than a life choices and good decisions thing. "Bout time we incentivized GOOD choices instead of bad ones like Democrat policies that incentivize having tons of children you can't afford and raising them in single mom households, which has worked so well.
